A great school that focuses on academics and character in a caring environment. I have no doubt that my grandchildren are receiving a solid education and foundation for their future.

I am very happy with Bishop McHugh. The teachers and staff are amazing and my child is truly thriving here. I feel fortunate to be able to send my child here especially when comparing it to the other options in the area.

The quality of teachers and the Principal is not up to the standard that you would expect from a Private Catholic School.Academic portion is on low scale, you will find out when your child is moving on to high school. The Principal does not seem to be interested in making things better. Such a shame.

I was so excited to move my children from public school to a Catholic school. With paying tuition, you expect higher academics for our children. Unfortunately the academic standards are much lower than other schools. I have bought my concerns to the administration. It takes days for a response back. Once i finally receive a response there is no resolution. It seems as if the administration doesn’t care about the academics of our students.

The parents are a bunch of privileged bullies. Not all children are treated the same, all depends on your last name and affluence. Community is discouraged and forget it if your child has an isp/iep without the correct surname.

Never planned on sending my children to a Catholic School. I grew up Catholic in a public school and thought that was good enough. We were so blown away at the Pre-K program we couldn't leave (plus our children wanted to stay) and I am so thankful my kids attend Bishop McHugh. The school is wonderful but the bonus is the community of parents. I love this school and would recommend it to anyone. Caring teachers, an involved group of parents, and the best principal you could hope for.

Best decision I ever made was to put my daughter into this school. She comes home every single day with a smile. I cant wait until my boys are old enough to attend their pre-K program !! Best principal hands down, so caring and involved!

I have two kids in their preschool program and couldn't be happier. The teachers are caring and do their absolute best to bring out the best in the kids. I also love how the older kids help with the younger ones. All are very respectful and come across as exemplary young people. Looking forward to my kids going the distance at Bishop McHugh.

I'm so glad I have the opportunity to write a review about Bishop Mchugh. We have been a part of this school community for 9 years and could not have asked for a better environment for our children. I believe this school is now better than ever! Not only do we feel they are getting a good education but they are learning to be good Christians. Todays world needs this instilled in our young people to make a difference in our society. I feel confident my kids know right from wrong, know when to step up to defend someone and will continue their education with the good foundation they have been taught at Bishop McHugh. Consider it! Visit it! Talk to the students! Love it!

Transferring to Bishop McHugh from public school has been the single most wonderful thing we have ever done for our family. Not only are my children challenged daily in a stringent academic setting, but they are making life long friends and fantastic memories at the same time. I know they are in good hands with the staff and that they are safe from incessant, unchecked bullying. The after-school opportunities are wide ranging and the regular school functions are always a good time. The school schedule makes a lot more sense for young children, too. We couldn't be happier. My kids laugh and giggle now instead of being sad all of the time.

Quality education! Good facilities too. As a community member and grandparent very active in the school I particularly like the personal attention given to help each child succeed. A big focus is on meeting the needs of all the kids, study hall for struggling students. Challenging curriculum.

We love Bishop. Our son receives the best possible education, he is always challenged and is ahead of all the public and other private schools in spelling and reading. He is beginning to read mid-way through PreK!

Truly a "GREAT" school. The caliber of education at Bishop is unequaled in the area. It is an inspiring place to learn. Communication with parents includes weekly wrap newsletters (emailed each week) and teacher pages where the hw is posted. This is very helpful as my child struggles with organization skills. Sending our child to Bishop Mchugh was the best decision of our lives.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Bishop McHugh school. It is so much more than an ordinary school. We have been at the school since Sept 2014 and in the cape may county community for several years now. We transferred from another local school. At Bishop Mchugh I witness a school filled with teachers that give 100% of themselves and then some. They give countless additional hours after school to lend a hand to a student in need, a parent, or to just make an extracurricular activity extra special. They do it so willingly! The principal is never too busy to sit down and discuss anything that is on your mind, whether a concern you have with your child, suggestion or idea you may have, or just a simple question you need an answer to. Bishop McHugh school is a caring environment, much more than just academics, the school teaches my children how to care and serve others. Team Mercy, similar to a student council, is an important organization that my son really enjoys. Bishop McHugh schoool is a place my children have made great friends. We plan to be here for many years. Bishop McHugh school is and always will be a blessing to our family!

Our kids now attend BMRCS and we have been very impressed. There is a strong sense of community and everyone makes you feel like family when you walk through the door.

Being new to Bishop McHugh School this year, we are impressed with the facility, curriculum, the administration and the staff. Everyone is so upbeat. My daughters self-esteem, self-awareness, and confidence are soaring. She has become more aware that she can learn and ask questions, It is wonderful to watch her as she grows and learns more.

Great administration!! Great academics plus installing great morals and blossoming our children into caring, giving, young people. Our son and daughter are very happy to be part of the BishopMcHugh Family! It is more than just school to them. We love it here.
