I have had 3 children attend this school over the years, and I loved the fact that the teachers and staff were always friendly and did over and beyond for the students. I now work at Deming Intermediate and have a whole new level of respect for Mrs. Ruttle and all the teachers and staff who work here. The main goal here is student success in every class. The teachers work extensively with each other and the students to ensure all students are reaching his/her goals!

Teachers, staff, and administrators are all very caring, highly skilled educators. They care very much about the students' success and it translates to the community. They are very dedicated to making sure all the children have the best education and experience at Deming Intermediate that's possible.

The employees at Deming Intermediate School are respectful of students, colleagues, and staff. They communicate well within the school and surrounding community. This school's teachers show exemplary skills in dissemination of information and in caring for the emotional well being of others. The personal involvement of the staff in this school is evidenced with the varied after school programs, the student council activities, the Science and English competitions that are supported and structured by the staff at DIS. Deming Intermediate is a GREAT school.

This was the first year my son had a good, positive experience at school. He loved his classes. He loved the staff--so much that he didn't want to leave at the end of the school year. We have never worked with a staff like them before. They're all great!

Over the years, I have seen this school transform from a school that simply got the kids to the next grade to a school that is truly vested in the students education and well being. Nicely done Deming Intermediate.

I read the comment posted by a parent in 2004. I know the parent and know that they wrote the negative review in order to harm the school and their reputation. His/her review is FALSE. Deming Intermediate School is one of the best schools in the Deming school district. They have a very talented, caring and dedicated staff. They communicate regularly with parents (concerns and good news!) and provide an enormous amount of their time outside of school to provide opportunities for their students. Students perform well and experience tremendous academic growth over the course of their 6th grade school year at DIS. They enjoy school and their teachers also!
