My daughter is constantly bullied, and not just by some of the students. Teachers have actively been inciting other students to ignore her and write what they think about her. A few times she’s had to beg to be allowed to use the restroom, the last time she had to walk out of class because she was about to urinate in her chair. She told the teacher that she was going to have me come to the school to talk to them about this and so she was accused of making threats. Her friends have told her that at least two of her teachers have stopped them in the hallway just to tell them to not be friends with her. When I picked her up from school today she asked me to change her to another pod because she can’t take it anymore. The principal is a great guy. He’s down to earth and genuinely wants a safe, happy and productive school. The teachers act like middle schoolers themselves.

I have been impressed for this being a smaller school out near the lake, rather than a magnet school you have to roll the dice to get your kid into in the city. They have done well to educate my children who came here with the foundation of an Illinois early education prior to our latest move.

Teachers yell at children and degrade them daily. Very poor security measures in place. I have checked my child out without even being asked for ID from someone attending desk that I know for a fact does not know me from Adam... Child has been bullied with really no interest from Principal or Administration at this school. Principal should be ashamed of leadership she has provided for these children.

this school is good but my daughter is getting bullied and we go down there but they havnt done anything but besidesthat I like it
