DeQueen Elementary is a very high educated school, with many talented children. It has many specially talented children in it's many groups: The Go Green Team, GT, and Razzle Dazzle. I believe that having these talent groups is a way to boost self esteem in these children. And with a higher self esteem level, students tend to have a craving to learn more and more in school. I am an all A student who will now go into the 6th grade, and last year I saw many improvements in my classmates from the beginning of the year to the very last day because of the fun activities that we did iiin class. I was in Mrs. Collins' class and she was a very interactive teacher. Therefore if this school were to make more fun groups like chess club or even a study group for students who are close friends, they willhave an even higher academic level. -Emma Kersey-
