Having moved here in 2019 we have seen some positive changes at DHS. The staff is caring and works hard to help their students. The class sizes are small which gives our children more interaction with their teachers. The only negatives are they are limited on teachers for different subjects so sometimes one teaching method is all your going to get; so if your child doesn't mesh with a teacher it can be a long year. This also goes for coaching in sports and extracurricular activities. What you get seems to be the trend year after year which can be good and bad. Overall we love the town and the schools! We would recommend DHS to anyone moving into the area.

This school is horrible do not let your kids go here. The teacher and staff are very narrow minded and a lot of the students are stuck up This school is very low on funds and don't have much of anything. The staff has favorite kids and the rest of the kids might as well disappear. This school is the worst.

This school was good 10 years ago, not so much now. The "good-ol boy club" is stupid. The teachers and principle don't care about education and care more about having fun on the weekend or winning in sports.
