Constant fights and lack of respect from students. Cursing and foul language nonstop, directed at both teachers and peers. Bullying like you would not believe! There is very little discipline in this school and students run amuck! Parents are rarely called and things get brushed under the table. Low test scores. The ability for any student higher than 3rd grade to focus is minimal. Do not recommend!

It was one of the best schools in Davenport until they took away the special educational program since then my child has come home crying and scared to go on to the junior high when he's not even ready for it he has a third grade reading level and they're going to go ahead and send them out and took away the special education where she don't come and get your kids no more from the classes they all stay in the same classes and learn with the other kids when the other kids have a higher learning how is that fair in any way it's just not I would not recommend Davenport School System to anybody who has a kid that is in special education thank you have a great day

This is my daughters 1st year at Jackson and she LOVES it!! They have a lot of great programs at this school, one of them is called the Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) where the Dads can go to the school and spend time with their childrens classes as well as others.

My children have spent their entire elementary education at Jackson Elementary. Jackson has a very caring and safe environment. The teachers and staff at Jackson come each day ready to jump on board with another awesome day of learning and helping our children to grow! Thank you Jackson!

school has poor test scores. money seems to be wasted on unneeded parties, activities, or accessories instead of things that would help or benefit the children to learn.
