If you don’t come from money, forget about it. Nepotism is alive and well here and the kids are miniature versions of their parents. If you are a minority, you will be excluded and bullied. The teachers do very little to promote diversity and inclusion as it’s not important to the wealthier families donating to the school. Teachers do not monitor the kids at the playground during recess at all.

I am a former student of Bradfield elementary, and I loved it! I wanted to go to school and I loved my teachers. I could really tell they were devoted to their job. I completely recommend this school, however, I don't recommend going to highland park middle school afterward. Bradfield provided a safe and happy environment for me to learn, grow and develop into a kind person. I really enjoyed it when the counselor would give us lessons on spreading kindness. overall: 10/10!!!

After viewing the website, we thought this was one happy school who cared about their students, until our kids attended. Without getting into all the issues with the school - there are many - we spoke with the counselor and the principal and both had big smiles but did nothing to resolve several issues. Instead of working with the parents in the best interest of the child, it's all about them and not what's best for the kids and providing misleading information repeatedly. They say they care, but they don't and do nothing as many students suffer because of it. Really bad experience.

Mean little girls grow up to be mean big girls. Nepotism is a real thing here and teachers will treat your child differently depending on what family they come from. The students notice this special treatment among each other and it results in ostracism among their peers and sets a poor foundation for the understanding of the real world at a very young age. My experience has been with the 2017 fourth grade teachers and negligence of the principal.

Bradfield is a great school! Parent involvement is very high, teachers and very caring as well as super competent and the principal is very accessible.

Cockroaches were found in classrooms. If you see one cockroach, there are likely more in the back. They can carry bacteria or viruses into your home.

This was our first year at Bradfield and it has been our best year yet! My son excelled at a rapid rate as I knew he had fallen behind at his previous school. His teacher was just the right balance of loving yet firm - which is what my son needs to thrive! As for the principal, I see her nearly every day and feel I can speak with her without hesitation. If she's not up-and-down the hallways and checking on classrooms perhaps it's because she's been busy behind the scenes running an awesome school! She sends out a weekly email to all families and when I read it, I sense a woman who genuinely cares about the kids and parents and really enjoys the aspects of her work. My family had an incident at the school this year and the principal was completely on top of it and went out of her way to make sure our family had everything we needed to get through the situation! She was great and I really appreciate her! We are so looking forward to our second year at Bradfield! To all the great teachers and volunteers, from our hearts to yours - thank you!

Parental involvement is top notch and the teachers are great...but this school DOES NOT have an open door policy (forget open door...even gifts are collected up front) for the parents to communicate. The principal does not and will not meet you. You are told to write an email which never gets addressed. The education is great but not too much the administration... Not impressed at all!

Cannot say enough great things about being a Bradfield Bronco! Ms. Brunner, the Principal, is amazing with both the kids and parents. The staff and teachers are all dedicated to helping your child succeed. They are fun, loving, encouraging. Parental involvement is top notch and not just from the moms! It makes me smile knowing my child is excited to go to school every day.
