I went to this school and during my time the school faced a bunch of neo nazis that the school took over a week to solve, they disregarded massive events and instead give students cheap but boring events even though the school had a lot of money to make these gigantic events according to several students. also, the school has a big issue with the split between smart people and dumb people such as me, with the school favoring intelligent people who had the opportunity to take advanced classes starting from middle school and disregarding those who didn't cut. the school also had an issue with people who did sports since apparently they only gave awards to people who are going to university instead of people that are just going to community college, even though I know athletes who are going to a community college that have been doing excellent at their chosen sport, perhaps even better than those who got awarded. Also at one point, the school forgot that black people existed which made many people (such as me) mad and I realized that the school this whole time was faking their whole "racial equality" maintenance. The only reason I gave it 2/5 stars is because the students are generally nice in the school, even though some are just completely weird and do drugs.

As a student at Cupertino High School, I would value the information I am being given. I am a promising person who is also highly educated, maybe too much for just a 16-year-old going to a public high school. I tolerated criticism and performed effectively under pressure because of the teachers here. . However, I remained diligent and paid close attention to complex academics and what teachers wanted "best for me.".Other schools are not as advanced, and there is a reason for it because it isn't a healthy, fun environment to send your kid to. There is racism, and students who aren't Asian arent brought to attention, and most definitions aren't cared for as far as their academics; it is something I have experienced, and that's the racism. If you want an everyday high school experience, please do whatever it is for your mental health to not be sent to CHS. You'll be made fun of for your grades, and when the grade doesn't satisfy others, you'll be looked down upon by the students and teachers. Students need to have more positive school experiences that are to teach social-emotional learning and fewer hardcore lessons about how you'll become a failure if you have a C in the class and aren't gonna be eligible for attending UC students shouldn't require parents to be pressured about high expectations and challenging courses. The student body needs to have the whole community learning. Suppose you prefer a much more relaxed environment, where students are free to think and recognize diversity and have fun socially and where events and leadership are significant and find their teen selves. In that case, Cupertino high school is not the place for you. Again, you'll be stereotyped by the majority of individuals here.In my experience, wherever I go, I hear students Freaking out over getting an A-. The parents influence their kids who stay home and study for a quiz for 5 weeks. We are losing the fun of things!. CHS makes me feel left out of extracurriculars. Students need to learn how to be confident in who they are and not be sensitive and scared when they get called to the office because they are taught to overthink. Having less restrictive guidelines is what we need because we think the classes we take make us who we are. However, the minority voice of students and educators must be heard without having to be perfect students. Cupertino High School students are unprepared for real life and speak with people about anything other than high grades after high school

This school was amazing for my younger brother. He had an amazing time. Of course there are some flaws but what school doesn't. There is some "bullying" here and there I guess although from what I've heard it is more of teasing. Overall it is an okay school if you are looking to move into the area.

I Strongly recommend to prospective families based on my experience. IMy 2 kids graduated from CHS. Over period of 5 years, I have great and positive experience. My kids thanked me for moving to CHS district from other school district. Kids are more focused on their future and their activities and time are focused on achieving their goals. Teaching staff and school support staff helps students in meeting goals. However school staff strongly stress overall development and not just academic. There are resources and help available for students for dealing with non-academic issues usually faced by teenagers. School environment is safe.

Overall, CHS utilizes diversity and resources to offer a quality education. The administration is professional, respects students, values community input, and encourages active parent involvement. Like any school, there are some teachers that are not favorites, and there are some teachers that are quite stellar. Tech, choir, drama, band, sports and other clubs are all available. Our experience has been that CHS is committed to supporting a balanced and challenging learning environment to effectively prepare students for higher university schooling.

Awesome school. Unlike neighboring Monta Vista and Lynbrook high schools, Cupertino High offers a perfect balance for academic competition and mental wellbeing. Every teacher I have had has been passionate about helping students succeed as a student and as a person.

Very friendly staff and a conducive environment for learning. Work load is very reasonable, letting students enjoy study and make time for sports and other extra-curricular activities. Graduating students enter top notch universities and have a well rounded development. Diversified student demographics make it attractive for kids to learn other cultures.

I have a friend who moved to Cupertino last year. She goes to Cupertino High School now and she told me that it's amazing!! She's made lots of amazing, accepting, awesome friends there and she's really enjoying her high schools year at Tino!! I'm kind of jealous actually, Tino seems like a better school than where I'm at and I'd love to go to this school if I lived in Cupertino!
