Attending St. Bernard Preparatory School was one of the best decisions. The rigorous academics, strong sense of community, and values-driven education prepared me not only for college but also for long-term career success. Beyond academics, the friendships I built at St. Bernard are lifelong and invaluable. The school fosters an environment where students support and uplift each other, creating bonds that last well beyond graduation. I am forever grateful for the foundation St. Bernard provided me—academically, professionally, and personally. Highly recommend!

I believe that home is where the heart is, and Saint Bernard will always have a part of mine. As a former boarding student, Saint Bernard's mission to cultivate one's body, mind and spirit is clearly intentional. Excellence in academics, athletics, and character is heavily emphasized, but most importantly it is modeled. The beauty of the campus itself serves as a reminder of God's love. However, it is the character of the monks, students, and teachers that makes it so beautiful to me. I am honored to be an alumnus of St. Bernard Preparatory School.-Mary Ella Cockerham

Saint Bernard Preparatory School is an extraordinatry force for good in our world. My daughter was a boarding student at Saint Bernard Prep and was fortunate to have been a recipient of this beautiful experience offered in Cullman, Alabama. The educators and monks of Saint Bernard Abbey are committed to the whole person, understanding that first, the student is a Child of God. The education my daughter received allowed her to step into the college setting with ease. Living as a boarding student at Saint Bernard taught her innumerable skills including time management, self dicipline, independence, how to adovate for herself, and effective communication. Saint Bernard Prep, will always have a special place in our hearts and a place we visit with joy.

I have been associated with St. Bernard for quite some time now. The students are very courteous. The faculty and staff are always looking out for the students’ best interest. I would definitely suggest this school to anyone who is looking for a good local private catholic school.

Yet another principal leaving St. Bernard Prep at academic year end 2014. Three students transferred this year to Cullman High School and another to follow. Pathetic situation at St. Bernard Prep.

Many students are spoiled, ill-behaved and are unwelcoming. There have been three high school principals/associate headmasters over the past four years. There have been openly dysfunctional relationships among faculty/staff.

St. Bernard Preparatory School is a first class high school education due to the high academic standards, strict discipline and Christian environment. Respect is a standard at St. Bernard and is evident in the class room between the teacher and students, the student dress code, and the interpersonal relationships between peers. Many extracurricular activities engage the student's interest but the focus never deters from learning. St. Bernard is a virtuous environment that enables every student to feel safe and welcomed. The boarding school provides an enlightened multi-cultural student body by bringing together students across the country, international students and local commuter students. This truly is a beautiful place with a small student-teacher ratio every student is challenged to exceed their potential. St. Bernard graduates are highly successful and fully prepared to engage in their next level of learning.
