I recently just moved here and went to pull my son out of class one afternoon for a dentist appointment and the woman at the front desk was very rude to me. She told me that I was not allowed to see my son and she would not pull him out of class. I proceeded to wait until the bell rang to retrieve him. I don't recall her name but I am in the process of moving my son to Canton High School. This changed my view of the school forever. I hope they rethink their staff.

Amazing, 30 + years and Cuba still has not changed one bit. They still think it is more important to have the right clothes, name , money and the popularity than it is to get a GOOD education. Apparently Cuba School District DID NOT get the memo of NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND. I attended this school 30 years ago and just learned trying to enroll my grandson in this district that the principal does not follow thru with what he says he will do. He does however, dress very well. I hope that is enough to get the Cuba students in College.

This school DOES NOT prepare students for the future. The academics do not meet standards compared to other schools. I don't know if it's lack of funding that has made this what I would consider a "crisis" situation or just too many years of things being done t he same way. The Board has some new members, but so far, nothing has changed. Hiring new leadership has proven to be a negative change as well. This school has become a place where no student wants to be. The kids have nothing there. They do not learn what they should. I think our history of scores show that. What is ever done about it? As a parent, you cannot get help. Everything is made about as difficult as it can be. Nobody is willing to listen or make positive changes. Nobody cares.
