Crofton Elementary’s principal, Mrs. Dexter, and her staff work hard to provide students’ with an inviting, inclusive, and safe learning environment. Their focus on learning & building character is above and beyond & everyone works together to make the school feel like home for students. Crofton has a great group of administrators and awesome teachers who truly love their students.

Crofton Elementary tries to be a great school. The teachers work hard and long hours, the principal tries to stay on top of everything, and most of the staff are friendly and eager to do their job well. However, every time I came to the principal with a concern, no one will take responsibility and the blame always gets put in being "underfunded and understaffed." My children, 3rd grade and K, love this school, with the exception of one teacher and a bus driver who both yell constantly and one of them curses at kids (bus garage won't do anything about her, so I just try to avoid using that service). Has sooooo much potential to be excellent, but is sadly and sorely lacking in accountability. Also, parent involvement is almost nil. A handful of parents are the skeleton crew that make up PTO/fundraising and parent representatives on various councils. Teachers are great and put forth wonderful effort for the kids.
