As a current 8th grader at this school, I'm so happy I'm leaving here this year. This school is so awful but some people here are good. The students bully a lot with their friends behind others backs and I hear it in class. Sometimes the things we do in class are boring and I really can't focus and learn (specifically talking about science). Most kids also follow up in others bad behavior which makes this school a building full of bullying. I don't think anyone talks about me but I don't know that unless my friends hear. The teachers are very kind and they actually care. If you ask them how to get your grade up they will try their best to help you. I don't recommend the guidance counselors since they aren't really helpful with problems except grades. You tell them about a mental problem and they'll just say "I'm sorry to hear that," and will send you back to class. I also don't think this school is quite safe. A month ago we got a shooting threat and kids were scared for their lives. And then once the school figured it out, they said "safety is our top priority," but they just expect kids to come back with that? I really wish I can leave this school but I still have months before I graduate. Hopefully I can get out of cranston overall when that happens.

This school is horrible. The environment and students behavior is bad and affect other good students. Safety is nothing there. One day they released my son to a stranger person just because they assumed that this person speaks English as a second language like me. My son called me and asked" who this lady you sent to pick me up?" I had to leave work early this day and run to school. They apologized and told me safety is our first priority LOL!Education is not important there. No work from home and when they ask their teacher to repeat something, most of them refuse and yell at them. Behavior is very bad and affect kids. Unfortunately my son is kind of the followers kids and he is acting like the bad ones now. I am doing my best to fix what this school destroyed in my son. Nothing there called family engagement. When I call the student counselor to ask for help, she call me after 2 days with careless attitude.

If I could give more than 100* I would.we were transferred from another middle school due to horrible sped experience. park view has a very strong support network. Even in the same district, their approach is so much more understanding. I have never met a teacher that let me feel my sped kid is hopeless like the other school did. The communication between parents and school is as transparent and respectful as it can be. Very grateful for everyone.

We've been really happy with my son's experience at PVMS. The transition from elementary was easy for him and it was awesome to watch him grow socially and academically. As with most things in life, you get out what you put in, so everyone's experience will be different

Park View has a very generous and effective team of administrators and instructors. In my experience, they respect parents, students, and the journey that is the middle school experience--

The school is amazing! Even though there aren't sports, they have tons and tons of in-school and after-school activities like basketball games, volleyball tournaments, may madness, lots of dances etc,. Huge track, baseball field, tennis court, basketball court and a park! Amazing.
