I love this school and especially how the teachers love and pray over our kids. They are strong leaders and support kids no matter beliefs. They provide a great stepping stone to other schools.

The school is decent when it comes to free public school education and keeping your child safe while being educated.But, the teachers, staff, and community are heavily religious and it bleeds into the educational process. Children will come home talking about how other kids talked about their religious beliefs. Your child will come home talking about how his their teacher told the class that "God did it" on subjects such as how a caterpillar metamorphs into a butterfly. I recently was forced to tell my kindergartener child that his teacher is an intelligent lady and nice, but was very wrong and she shouldn't have used her personal and ridiculous religious beliefs as an answer to a science question. I had to spend time explaining evolution, cells, and DNA, because the teacher chose to misinform the whole class rather than explain the science, say she didn't know, or just explain they'll learn about it more later next year when there's more time to discuss it.You don't misdirect the mind of a child so early or it can cause confusion and have a greater effect on down the road.I'm very disappointed in this case, because otherwise the teacher at fault and people at the school try to be nice and caring.I cannot recommend this school to any other parent who wants to make sure their child is taught properly.

Central Elementary has teachers that care about your children & their education. The principal is dedicated to the children. Central may have the oldest school building in Coweta but the teachers, principal & staff make it great!

The principal provides strong leadership. The teachers are skilled and caring. There is a pleasant atmosphere. The school building is old, but historic.
