Crestwood is an amazing school! I have two kids currently attending and have been for four years, we have never had a teacher we don’t like. The teachers truly care about their students. PTA does such fun events for all the kids and are very involved.

Crestwood is such a great school. My kids have only had amazing, caring teachers the past two years at Crestwood. The PTA is involved and set up fun events for the kids. Love this school.

I have always been impressed with everyone at Crestwood. All the teachers and administration, including the front office staff, have all seemed to genuinely care about the kids, and they work hard to create a safe and positive learning environment. My daughter loves going to school there!

The teachers and staff are amazing. We have three children currently attending and have been attending for the last 6 years. The PTA has newer leadership but they are very active and do an amazing job. The school also provide great leadership opportunities for the older grades. As far as bullying, we have not had to deal with any issues with the school. Most have been resolved at home because it is normal kid conflict. Again, the teachers our children have had have had have been amazing but teachers who have not taught my children know my childrens names and treat them as if they were their own student. It is a great school.

We have been at this school for 4 years and we couldn't be happier. The staff is wonderful, the teachers are phenomenal and the PTA is very committed. We have had some issues with bullying as most schools and families will and it was handled with much care for all the children involved. Unfortunately, you can not pick and choose the children that will go to your school and pick on your child. Overall we are please with our child's school and are looking forward to the next few years!

Poor curriculum, bullying is outrageous, the principal is a joke, and the front office personnel is the rudest I've ever come across.

In my experience with Crestwood Elementary (and the Kent School District as a whole), I have to say it is probably one of the worst schools (and districts) I have ever dealt with. There are some outstanding teachers here, but they are very limited in resources and the ability to help the children the way they would like to. The curriculum really needs a tune up. The office staff and principal are very rude. They treat you like you re a nobody and they act like your kids don t matter. In fact, they shouldn t even be allowed to be around children. One last thing - the 6th grade president of this school is no role model by any stretch. He has a foul mouth, he s a bully, and he stops at nothing to make a child feel horrible about him/her self. I would give you some examples of why I feel this way; however, I am limited in the number of characters I can use in this comment box. My advice to you - please check out the school ratings in every possible way. Do your research. Your children get only one chance at a good education. I would never recommend this school or district to ANYONE; it s just not worth it.

My son is now in first grade, his second year at Crestwood, and I couldn't be happier. The school staff and PTA put on so many fun events. It truly keeps everybody well knit and involved. There are many volunteer opportunities for parents, both in the classroom, and out at events. The office staff are great and very helpful. The school sends weekly newsletters to keep parents up to date on what's happening, and some teachers send emails to their students' parents as well, which really helps to keep us in the loop. Crestwood is a wonderful, safe, family oriented school in a great location.

Crestwood has been great for my two boys. They have actually taken on a more outgoing persona. There are various programs for involvement to teach responsibility. If I had to come up with anything that could use improvement, it would be communication. There were a couple time my child did not get the homework turned in and I was not notified until conference day.
