I have two in Amanda gist and they both have been doing great. The teachers and all of the staff make you feel like we're all family. My youngest struggles with sitting still and listening issues but that hasn't fazed his teacher she has been great. She works with us and we appreciate that she just doesn't see him as a problem child. She actually cares and takes time with him. Thank you Mrs. Sperry and Mrs. Adkins for being such wonderful teachers and just wonderful people. We are planning on moving but it's going to based on us staying in the Cotter district.

Some of the teachers are great at this school. The math teachers put so much pressure on the kids. I am guessing because of the pressure put on them to do so well. Your child will be able to make NO mistakes! If your child is tough, then this is the school for them. If you have a sensitive child, I can promise you that you will be nothing but stressed. The teachers make them do excessive exercising as punishments. I am not even talking about doing something really bad, I am talking about something like losing a scan card or something! It is absolutely ridiculous! I really think some of the things they do at this school should be checked on by the state. I don't think they have the authority to do punishments the way they see fit. I can not wait until my son/daughter is out of K-8th!
