Cosby Elementary is giving my children a great education. Not only do the teachers and administrators put forth their best, they take the time to care and encourage kindness and team work. I moved from a big city to this rural area and I am thankful my children have the mentors they do in the teachers and administrators at Cosby Elementary. One of my children has special needs and is attended to and provided great care. Their sports program and Junior Beta Club program is top notch!

I went to this school K-8. I had straight A's and once I got to high school, I was Not prepared. The school did improve while I was there. The principal and vice principal actually care!

Make sure to check your child's work after being graded the teachers have a tendency to mark something wrong when in fact it is right. Also for learning disabilities this school doesn't do anything to help when it comes to Dyslexia, ADD and ADHD. No support or encouragement. Most of the staff bully the kids and say really harsh statements to them. Very belittling. I have only seen one teacher at this school who seems to really care about the kids and what is right. Robin Moore is an excellent teacher! More teachers/educators need to follow her example!

The staff at this school are bullies not educators. I am in the process of moving just to get my kids out of this schools district. When you try to have a conversation with the staff about an issue they try to bully the parent as well. I am sick of this school and their teachings and the school board is no better when it comes to making a complaint. I am taking my matters to the US Department of Education. This school should be closed down or totally revamped. Good luck if you send your child to this school.

cosby elementary is near the bottom of the heap of schools in Tn with a ranking of only 40%. There are no programs for advanced students and they will not help you or your child in any way if the child is above average and needs challenging. The teachers and principal will try to bully you around as a parent if you speak out. A good percentage of the staff are related (surprised...don't be - it's cosby) so you can't get anywhere with this crowd. Absolutely the worst school I have ever seen.
