Travis Elementary school is have running club every week after school 3:15-4:00. It is awesome opportunity for students to stay active and healthy.

The atmosphere is friendly and caring. Teachers make themselves available to give their students any extra help that is needed beyond class hours.

Travis Elementary challenges students to strive for excellence on a daily basis. Students are reminded of what it means to have good character and to be a leader in and out of their classroom. In the classroom, students are encouraged to always participate and support their classmates when learning new things. The students at Travis Elementary are pushed to learn something new and to try hard things.

Despite being a challenging year with Covid, student’s are excited to be at school. The teachers’ dedication and love for their students shines through. Many programs are implemented to help students such as reading Intervention, tutoring during and after school, and the ACE Program just to name a few.

Travis is an excellent school that provides equitable opportunities for each student in every grade level. The students really enjoy their extra curricular activities,also. From robotics, photography and piano clubs each student has a great place to fit in and feel part of the Travis family.

Travis is a school with some economic diffculties but have Great, Delicated Teachers. This is evident by high performance on the state testing results. They also have a lot of school spirit shown by students, parents and long termed teachers.
