Montclair is a small neighborhood school where the teachers treat the students like their own children. Two of my children have attended Montclair Elementary School. The teachers are welcoming and work hard to help the students excel. My children have had all positive experiences at school. I am excited to have my youngest attend Montclair in the fall.

Montclair is an outstanding school! I love how all the students and families feel welcomed and included. I feel blessed to be part of a school community that truly values our kids and their growth, not just in academics, but socially/emotionally as well.

Most of the teachers we had are no longer there. If your child is having learning issues don't expect the teachers or the school to recommend they get testing through the district as it costs them money. We waited until 2nd grade to finally get our daughter tested for dyslexia and our suspicions were correct. We wasted all that time at Montclair not knowing what our daughter's real issue was because the school kept telling us to wait and wait because "it's developmental." No, it's not. You can test for dyslexia as early as kindergarten. Get your kid help before it's too late - the school will not help you at all nor will they even recognize there is even a problem. The 1st grade teacher was convinced my daughter didn't have dyslexia despite the fact my daughter could not even read or do simple math. SAD!!! We now go to private tutoring and have switched schools. Other than that, everyone is pleasant and the education is average to below-average. Just look at the test scores for STAAR - they're not very high. Parents are nice and the school as a community is lovely.

Montclair is a great school and there teachers are awesome cuz they go out of there way to help my son... And what can I say about our principal she's amazing and helpful..

My school is outstanding! All their efforts is for their kids! The teachers are great, Proud my kids goes there! They are on top of everything especially on security and that is a big one for me! Thanks

I love this school the only Exception is the Autism class with Mrs Martin, she is a bully teacher, my daughter still has nightmares from her teaching, She didn,t let my daughter move from the chair all day crying and screaming. My daughter peaed on herself.
