Would NOT recommend unless you want your kid on ADHD meds. And if you refuse be expecting a call every day to pick up your kid. For disturbing the class room. And if you can’t make it because of work expect a call the next day with an outrageous story of physical attacks by the student.

The atmosphere in the classrooms is positive and supportive. The small class sizes allow more individualized instruction.

Evans is a great school for any child to attend! It's a small campus, so students have more opportunities to work in small groups with their teachers and are given the individual attention needed to meet their specific needs.

Great school! Our students are happy to be here. Evans has small class sizes, and teacher are very nurturing. Teachers value each student as their own individual. They are not only concern about students learning academically but social and leadership skills. All students that attend Evans are proud to be Evans mustangs.

I have taught at Evans for 5 years and it is truly home for me! The staff and students that I work with are the best! They make coming to work feel like a treat everyday! I look forward to Monday-Friday just as much as I look forward to the weekends. We are a smaller school which gives us the opportunity to have smaller class sizes. This is great for students and for teachers because it give us the opportunity for more one-on-one instruction and the opportunity to form long lasting relationships between teachers/staff and students.

Everyone is friendly, Teacher are caring and go over and beyond to make sure the students get the education they need. This is a close net community with families of three generations continue to attend and also work at the school.

George Evans Elementary School is a phenomenal school! When you walk in, you can feel the love from everyone that you meet! I was able to student teach here and I had an awesome experience. Everyone treated me as if I belonged here. Three years later, I was offered a full time teaching job at the same school I student taught at. I feel so much love when I walk into work every day. If I am having an off day, I have my coworkers that will go out of their way to encourage me. I have the most amazing students who I love as if they are my own. I have students who aren’t even in my class that will come up to me give me the best hugs ever! I love working here and I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else. I believe this is exactly where I belong!
