I was a student in this school but my mom took me out the students in this school are horrible and so is the staff the people in the office take advantage of their power and students are dangerous and disrespectful and the school doesn’t do anything about it as long as nobody out of school finds out.

The staff and Teachers at Tom Browne Middle are very caring and always willing to help the students any way they can. Some teachers stay late to help tutor the students. The coaches also help train our students in Athletics.

Tom Browne MS typically has gotten a bad rap in the community, but I feel it is not deserving of that type of reputation. The teachers are extremely helpful and care very deeply for the students and their education. The administration and the staff do their best with each student and the challenges that arise with all students on a daily basis. Education and safety are the top priority on the Tom Browne campus, and I feel that most students and staff would agree wholeheartedly with that statement. The school offers a great sports program and has high quality coaches that teach character as well as the sports skills necessary to be successful in competition. Locker rooms have been updated recently and new equipment is available for athletes for all sports. There are also many great after school clubs and organizations to join for students that have different interests. After school clubs consist of chess, fishing, engineering, science, math, theatre, and many more. There are not any schools out there that are perfect, but Tom Browne is striving to do better each day for the students and their individual education and overall wellness!

As a teacher at this campus for the past 9 years I must share that the negative reputation of the school is not accurate. Most think the school is full of disrespectful students and this is not the case. We have some of the BEST students in CCISD who work hard and make the greatest efforts to be successful. I always tell everyone that I have the most amazing students and I choose to continue to work here. The students that come through here have a choice just like every other student in other schools. It is up to the student to work hard or not. I work with some of the most giving and sacrificial teachers. These teachers take the time to work with the students and provide opportunities for them to be successful. The staff here is caring. The teachers go out of their way to demonstrate that each student matters.

As a teacher at Tom Browne, I have witnessed great comradery between staff and students who truly care about their learning and future. Times are tough with the Covid-19 situation, but the school has been very responsive and supportive of student and faculty needs. I have seen many teachers spend hours upon hours doing tutoring, answering emails, and reteaching lessons to ensure all students can succeed. Admin cares greatly about their faculty professionally and personally. The faculty has gone above and beyond to provide as many resources as possible for students, to the extent of doing home visits to deliver food and other resources for success. Sure the school has its faults, but all schools do. If I had children, I would be happy to send them to a school with such a supportive culture.

Tom Browne has been a very rewarding place to work. The Teachers are amazing, they go above and beyond for their students, I have seen this first hand! All Staff are very welcoming and a joy to be around. Fights and language happen of course but that is inevitable. It all gets handled well and right away.

Tom Browne Middle School has the most wonderful and caring staff. They are dedicated to building relationships with their students in a safe and caring environment. Teachers and staff go above and beyond to help all students.

A 0. We hate this school but all schools in CCISD are terrible. So what is a parent suppose to do when you have to work?

The staff is not very responsive meaning the teachers they do not inform the parents of what they have the students.Studying and they do not enforce AR testing at this school .The lack of communication is terrible.The school was one of the top Middle Schools in the past years and now is under average for testing I believe the school needs to step up and take actions for the students.

I am a Six grader at Tom Browne Middle School it is very nice here but i have to say Tom Browne School qualities are nice but the qualities are very poor.

I am an 8th grader at Tom Browne and I have to say that this school has a very great staff, and yes there is SOME violence at this school, but tell me what school that doesn't. We have great techers that are dedicated in everything they do. i am very pleased with Tom Browne. I happened to have been in sports here too, and the coaching staff is excellant too, we went far this year(2010-2011). Are coaches are as dedicated to sports as are teachers inside the building are with reading, math, and science. I would advise any parent out there to enroll your children here at Tom Browne Middel School.
