Working to improve overall scores and student progress

The teachers and instructional assistants love the kids. But morale is so low. And don't think for a second that this won't affect the children. The leadership is a huge problem. You are in with the principal and her associates (and see/do everything their way) or you are out. And if you are out, they treat you like they want you gone. They are rude and condescending. The principal's buddies keep getting hired. Is this what is best for the children or what is best for the principal and her friends? I know several instructors that are thiiiiis close to walking away and not looking back. The children are the only reason they stay. This is the school our children spend their days at. There is such a laser focus on a handful of specific agendas (which aren't inherently bad), that morale and leadership and interpersonal skills seem to be super low on the list of priorities. The environment is toxic and negative and the behaviors of the leadership and supervisors is shocking. I would never want this to be the example set for my children. My children will NOT be a part of it next year.
