As a student, I'm going to say this school deserves the 2.8 rating It has.

I feel there is not good enough communication with the parents relating to extracurricular groups, etc. available to students. It seems some clubs/group etc. are just announced in the morning. Also, there are no after school activities for the students to join in to have fun together. Not that it needs any dances but it's just a boring school. Nothing really stands out. Although our child is doing very well. He rarely has homework as he does it in school. I hope he's ready for high school in two years.

Problems with islamophobia in the school. Poor response by administrators to keep Muslim students safe from harm (physical and verbal).

I was an 8th grader last year at Northdale and honestly it's the worst school experience I've ever had . I've moved many times and been to many schools. Some of the things here are outrageous! It seems like the teachers don't care. I've seen a lunchlady pick up a fry and put it back to serve. Also, one way hallways? Are you kidding me? Find a different school if you can.
