All of our initial great impressions of the school have held true over time. Our son loves this school and the teachers. We were very lucky to have found The Grove.

The Grove has been and is a great school for my daughter. We did not have any experience with the Montessori method before she attended, but have quickly become converts. We especially appreciate their "follow the child" philosophy that allow students to move at their own pace, so they aren't held back, or in some instances, being pushed, by the standard curriculum pace. In addition, the small-class environment results in a deeper learning of each subject. The teachers here know each student more personally because there are fewer students and they have more time with each of them. I wish this would be how all schools are.

Our experience with this school has been truly wonderful! The nurturing environment encourages each child to grow and learn at their own pace, and the teachers are incredibly skilled, attentive, kind, and dedicated. The Montessori approach is woven beautifully into daily activities, fostering independence, creativity, and a love for learning. We’re so grateful for the caring community that supports and inspires our child every day!

I love the passion the teachers at The Grove have! You can tell they love what they do and this is reflected in the students’ excitement to learn. I love the environment that has been created. Nature is a big part of it and it feels so welcoming and comfortable. I can’t recommend this school highly enough for families that want a community to go along with an excellent Montessori education!

When we found The Grove, we couldn't have been more excited! Public school experience was not a good one for our family, and The Grove turned out to be exactly what we needed to reignite the love and joy of learning again. We love the small class sizes and the mixed age classrooms. There is great sense of community at school. Its so fun to hear about the outside projects, gardens, etc that the children get to be involved with practical learning and working with their hands. The teachers are truly phenomenal and provide such a nurturing environment for every child to feel excited to go to school. We know how lucky we got finding this gem of a school!

We have had out two kids at The Grove since the school opened over five years ago and couldn't be happier. The teachers are amazing, and the classroom and outdoor environment are exactly what a parent hopes for - so that our kids actually enjoy school. I wish they had schools like this when I was growing up! The school fosters inclusion and a true sense of community with the parents. My kids have made lifelong friends and we as parents have also made such wonderful friends with the other parents. Couldn't ask for more - and so lucky we have our kids here.

he Grove is our happy place. My kids love being here. When it’s time to leave after a long day of school, they often beg to stay longer. Their teachers become family, as do their classmates. We love that they are outside so much, while at the same time excelling in academics beyond their years and have a love for learning. We love seeing deer on the way to school and hearing about the sports they play and the “nature shops” they make during free time. It’s awesome to hear my EC student tell me about all of the continents and constellations, skip count, and count to 30 in Spanish on the way home from school. And the best part is it’s all in a low pressure environment that creates a love of learning. I don’t know how we could ever go to “regular school” after experiencing The Grove!

My husband and I have been so pleased with The Grove and how well our son has done there. We feel very fortunate that we got a spot for him in the toddler class with Ms. Eddy and Ms. Olga. His teachers truly love their students and our 3 year old son is always describing his teachers as “great friends.” He comes home singing songs we’ve never heard of, reciting books, and always tells us about his fun outside time riding bikes, playing golf, and playing on the seesaw to name a few. We really credit a lot of his development to his time spent at The Grove. He’s made good friends with his classmates and always looks forward to school. Outside of his classroom, the school hosts a number of events during the year that bring families together. The owner, Chris, has been very easy to talk to and is very responsive. All of the teachers know our son by name, even if they teach different classes. The Grove has a wonderful family feel. We highly recommend them.

My 12-year-old daughter attends The Grove Community School. It is located two minutes from our house so it is extremely convenient. Chris and all of the teachers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. We are blessed with having The Grove so close.

We love being part of the family at The Grove! From the teachers to the home they have turned into their school, there is such a beautiful sense of community here. The teachers know every student from the youngest to the newly established high school level classroom. There are family bonfire s’more nights to 50’s Day. Our little one has blossomed overnight. Language skills, counting, art, and more. There is a chance we may have to move, and we are trying to figure out how to keep her at The Grove because we love this place so much. So, congratulations, if you have found The Grove, you have just found the best school in Conroe and The Woodlands!

We love this school and are very happy we made the decision to move our child here despite the increased distance from our home. It’s worth it. Our daughter looks forward to going there every single day. We like the Montessori method that focuses on choice and learning by doing. The building has the comfort of home and has warmth and kindness from all of the teachers. Our daughter has thrived here, both socially and academically. We enjoy that the outdoor play is available come rain or shine. Our child’s concentration has improved and her independence has grown. I believe each child is different and here that is recognized and nurtured so that all will flourish. It’s a place where a child can simply be a child at their best. I think it’s so important for a child to have a good first impression of school and here you will certainly find that.
