Teachers are overworked and not supported. The loudest parents overrun the school and the principal doesn’t have the stomach to stand up to them because every dime counts. There is also some shady Business going on with money that is donated to the school.

Optimal Christian Academy is a great school. It offers low class sizes and lots of one on one time for teachers and students. The school administration highly encourages parents to get involved with their child's education on a daily basis. They have created an environment that allows parents and students to develop positive relationships with teachers. They provide positive examples for students of color that help students form a positive self-identify of themselves and others that look like them. In an attempt to save money I took my son out of Optimal and placed him in Intensive Learning Center (ILC) Elementary School in Lakewood, CA. ILC is supposed to be one of the areas best schools, however my child was at least one grade ahead of his classmates and the only solution was to skip him. Instead, I sent him back to Optimal where he is thriving and continues to be ahead of other kids his age.

Excellent teaching staff, but original owners in leadership children seem to be in charge and they are not very professional. I look over them and focus on the teachers. My children earned a great education at Optimal and now my grandchildren attend this school. This is the best school in this area. If anyone is looking for a great school in this area, this is the place, you will be well pleased with what your child(ren) will learn. Hats off to the great teachers!

Optimal Christian Academy is a great school, pre-school to 6th grade. This summer the teachers are really making it fun along with educatonal for our children. The head teachers have put together a great summer program for the K-6th students. My children love going to Optimal. The teachers are great. They really care about the children's academic progress, beginning with Bible lessons. My children have really learned a great deal. I love this school but I have concerns with the office staff(family), at times they are not professional. Son of owner needs to take a class in professionalism. The teaching staff is my main concern and they are wonderful. I highy recommend this school if anyone is looking for their child to receive a good foundation in education. God Bless Optimal!
