Como-Pickton teachers send kids home with home work and they don't even explain to them how to do it. They expect for the parent to teach them and do their job.I get complaints from my child everyday about the teachers having bad attitudes.

I have never seen such a dedicated group of educators as I do here. My children are both in elementary and were both able to read before they began Kindergarten. I do not understand the negative reviews found here as this school, although small, is one of the best in the country. They strive for excellence and achieve this goal continuously. My daughter only has 5 other kids in her room giving her a wealth of 1 on 1 time that just isn't possible in larger schools. My son has always been at genius levels amd this schol feeds his ambitions like no other. I forsee them both proceeding to college with high honors and the skills they will need to suceed well into adulthood. Many small schools lack in their technical areas and excel in agricultural education. While the Ag department is top notch their acdemia doesn't stop there. They have an excellent carpentry program as well as UIL and technology center.
