I am so thankful for this school. We were on the fence initially deciding where to send our kids. Now we love and appreciate this school and what it offers. We also are in the Dyslexia therapy program and it has been a true blessing.

This is the fifth year our children have attended Annunciation Catholic School and we have been very happy with both the academics and the school environment. The academics in elementary classes have a clear progression that prepares the students for a rigorous middle school curriculum. Each year the students need to grow in personal responsibility and independence and the expectations for the students get higher. However, the teachers provide the support and guidance needed to make the sure the students stay on track. The teachers and administration believe in the potential of each student, despite personal circumstances or learning needs. As for the school environment, we could not be more pleased. The kids learn how to treat each other with respect and kindness, how to love and forgive, and how to serve their community. We feel like our kids are truly loved by the staff and they are learning to be high academic achievers with strong moral standards.

We are a military family who recently moved to Columbus. We have loved ACS and send our four kids here. After only a year and half of our students attending ACS, I started working in the front office here. I am pleased to say that working at the school we already loved makes me love it more. The teachers and staff truly care, and my kids have learned so much. Here, they know you by name and are able to accommodate your individual situation.

We had a negative experience at the school with one teacher. The teacher was absolutely the worse and she is the reason we decided to leave there after 2 years. We endured her for one year and we were so happy when our child went to the next grade. However, the administration then moved the teacher up to our child's new grade and it was a complete nightmare. My son stated she would sit at the computer all class period and not help him. She would then send me (the parent) lengthy emails detailing why my son wasn't getting his work done.I tried to remain professional but I wanted to say "Why don't you get off your computer and go teach my child?" She had maybe 12 students in the class but she couldn't find the time for individual instruction. After two horrible years we gladly went to another private school. My children are flourishing at the new school and making great grades. The administration at Annunciation was deaf to concerns.

My son currently attends Annunciation Catholic School and my daughter is starting there in the fall. After seeing how poorly the other schools in the area were rated, we decided to go private. I am so glad we did. It is great to have your kid come home from school and say that they got to learn about God’s love instead of God being driven out of the classrooms at public schools. I am so thankful that we are part of the ACS family.

Annunciation Catholic School has taught my two sons the importance and value of faith as an individual and a family. This has been taught not only in religion class, but across the curriculum. The integration of the arts across the curriculum has impacted the critical thinking of my children; as well as, the love of the arts. My children are taught according to their needs. ACS has become our home away from home.
