I regret ever letting my child go to this school for as long as I did. When I noticed something was off during 2nd grade, the teacher and principal brushed it off. Then Covid hit and took a turn. When the kids returned, they took forever to do assessment. This school does not offer classes for special needs kids. If you ever have an IEP meeting, I highly recommend getting an advocate!!! The administrators here will fool you and loose your paper work. Get copies of everything! No one wants to do their job anymore. My son is now struggling because he never got the support he needed.

Overall my kids and I hated this school, by far the worst school I’ve had the unfortunate time of being here, would never recommend this school to anyone.

Not sure who hired the principal but shes not intelligent or sharp enough to be a principal, nor does she have the look, rude staff and they do not let u speak or answer questions.

My son looks forward to attend school! Last year when he transferred here he struggled with reading and was below reading standards for his grade and I'm proud to say that he just received an award of excellence in reading today (seven months later). The afterschool program that is offered has been a blessing to the advancement of my child and helpful to me as a single working parent. The Assistant Principle is awesome, love Mrs. Jackson!! I love Garcia Elementary!! BTW- Check out the API scores- those numbers speak for themselves!!!

Very bad staff the in take people will not let you get a word in, they think there a private school
