I have a son that attended this school for the first year, ever. My son has a disorder that causes him to act out when he is overwhelmed and the school knows of this, yet the continue to treat him as though he is just a troublesome kid. Not only that, my son was coming home telling me there was a child in the school who was bullying him. I would show my concerns to the school about the child and the teacher would respond that my child picks on kids too. My son was told inappropriate things by this child and told that on Halloween if he were seen out trick or treating that he would get beat up. The teacher refused to do anything. This issue wasn't taken care of until I had to write a long detailed letter to the principal of whom never called me back or even tried contacting me about the issue, instead they complained about it to the teacher who then tried justifying her actions. My letter simply advised them that there should be a zero tolerance for bullying, ignoring it now is what causes kids to get away with it and do it later in life. The child admitted to doing it and he still does it. I will not send any of my children here ever again.

A large school that still has a small town feel! The teachers and staff are always very friendly.
