I’m in my seventh grade year and it’s sucks only a few teachers care about there job please don’t come here I went from being a nice kid to having to change myself just for people to acknowledge me

The new staff has a great vision for the future of this school. There are many after school programs for our students. I see the students and staff with a positive attitude. Can't wait to see the outcome!

This school is absolutely horrible.. Lack of leadership and the safety is a real concern.. My child is losing valuable education do to outbursts of certain students within her classroom who are known to have behavior issues and teachers do not know how to handle.. the staff themselves are not showing proper morals, values, or conduct.. so why should the students. and its very frustrating when you try to call and address these issue with staff and they deny there is any issues within the system.. I feel if staff and students were held accountable for their behaviors it might make it a diffrent learning enviorment.. And when a child is bullied they do not address it at all.. just another day at Clewiston middle school

I am a student at CMS I am going into 7th grade & I can tell you right now this school is horrible. If you are looking for a good gifted program look somewhere else. CMS' gifted program... Well I wouldn't even call it one. Basically all you do it you meet once every 2/3 months and talk about your goals, thats it. This school's learning techniques aren't very good either. They have a serious bullying issue. They don't deal with disiplinary issues as good as they should. Some of the teachers are very rude. In 6th grade I was in all advanced classes and I did not learn one thing at all I basically was relearning eveything I learned in 5th grade. If you/your child cares about their education like I do, well they are going to have to strive for it. The teacher's are no help at all. It is a big surprise if you get strait A's all year like I did. They are surprised if you even get a 5 on the FCAT. I got 5's in reading & math. Student's grades drop when they enter this middle school. And the fact that they have a fight EVERYDAY is ridiculous. Sadly this is the only public middle school in Clewiston so I have to go to it. If I had a choice I would Definitely switch out.
