St. Cecelia’s provides a safe environment and challenging curriculum. The honors math and English in the middle school is a real standout with excellent teachers. The religion teacher is also outstanding. There are many opportunities for growth and learning at St. Cecelia’s.

This is our 5th year at the school and I have three kids of diverse strengths and interests. Each of them has found their voice and personal self in this very safe environment. I love the faith based education, but it’s also not SO much that kids that aren’t Catholic would feel left out. The teachers are extremely responsive and communicate daily with homework, reminders, answering questions, etc. We have really fun family events too! My best adult friends are now fellow SCS families! It’s a great community!

St. Cecelia has provided my child with a solid foundation of both faith and academics. The school has been around for 75 years for a reason. I highly recommend anyone looking for a faith based curriculum that is challenging to come to St Cecelia.

We have been at St Cecelia's for over 10 years! We have found the school to be a positive environment for all our kids. My kids have loved their teachers. This school is an IB world school with rigorous academic standards. The IB teaching has given our kids a solid academic foundation for high school. St Cecelia's academics continues to be one of the best in the area. The teachers support the kids! For each of my experiences the teachers have been so accommodating to my kids and their specific needs in the classroom. The families at school we have met are great! There are many activities that the school does that are for the families to enjoy. The school is very helpful if your child needs academic support services. They have on site academic support were other local schools do not provide that. Overall this is a wonderful school that has been around for a very long time and is a great place for my kids to attend!

This used to be such a great school but in the last few years the administration has isolated themselves from the parents and the teachers don't even seem to care anymore. There is zero discipline, bullying is everywhere and in every class, even as young as 1st grade. We will moving to a different Catholic school next year and it can't come soon enough. We ask to meet with administration and don't hear back from weeks and are always pushed off. When bullying is brought to the attention of the teachers one of the teachers flat out told me her hands are tied and administration wont support her. When we toured we were told so many things that didn't end up being true and after speaking to other families we learned this has been going on for years. I have no idea how they became a blue ribbon school because the academics have declined since we started and I don't know how those teachers can even teach with the behavior issues. We hope that someone eventually comes in and turns it around for the sake of the kids.

The teaching and education is nice but the students act crazy and the students are always talking even during class. Students are also playing games. They slap each other butts, they always talk about sports, and they throw food during lunch. Honestly I thought this school will be great for my child but after this I I'm outraged because of this. The school is great for learning but for the students actions this school has 0 stars

Def look around and don’t let admissions fool you. This school’s administration has checked out. A lot of unhappy students and families. Sad that it’s turned out this way because it doesn’t have to be.

We have been a SCS family for 10+ years and reflecting on our education journey, I would not change a thing. We travel quite a distance to SCS. We are zoned for an A+ public school and there are many private schools we pass along the way during our morning commute. Initially we were drawn to the Blue-Ribbon Status of the School and the fact that SCS is an IB school. We have stayed because of the education and the School Family we have gained. St Cecelia students and families are economically, religiously and socially diverse. Students learn religious lessons, while simultaneously learning to be a GLOBAL citizen respectful of all religions, races and orientations, which can be difficult to find in a religion based private school. Every school cannot check all the boxes for every family, but I encourage you to visit the SCS campus and experience what makes St Cecelia the premier private school in Tampa Bay.

We started St.Cecelia 3 years ago and have been very impressed with the education and staff. With 2 Blue Ribbons it really shows what a great education you receive here. When I’m on campus you get a real feeling of community here. I would recommend St. Cecelia Interparochial School to anyone I talk with.

We moved to Clearwater in 2018 and selected SCS because my boys previously attended a Catholic school in Atlanta. We could not be happier with our choice. There is a diverse background of families and the SCS community makes everyone feel welcome. My boys enjoy this school more so than our prior school. Most important to me are the academics and IB program. I can tell you that several people I know have transferred to SCS from other local schools and have stated that the curriculum is much more challenging at SCS. I am confident that my boys will be well prepared for high school.

My three boys have been at st Cecelia’s since we moved from Chicago four years ago. Overall we could not be happier with our experience. From the start we had a buddy family who helped us acclimate to the school. The warm community environment creates a family atmosphere. Beyond this the high caliber academics, IB global program, extracurriculars, teachers, and more make this the perfect choice for our family.

This is my daughter's 4th year at St. Cecelia's and we think it's a great school! Great Academics mixed with solid Catholic Catechesis and a great variety of extracurriculars. Very caring teachers and staff and administration. They always welcome me and know me and my daughter when I arrive to pick her up. I think they've done a good job throughout the pandemic even with all the outside restrictions put on them by the govt and diocese. If you are serious about getting your kids an academically challenging Catholic education this is a great place. If you want a less strict or challenging school then this may not be the place for you.

My experience is a 10/10. There is a strong family feel and it is a wonderful environment. Students feel excited about learning and you can feel the happiness when you walk through the halls.

What can I say, I am going to miss this school! I can’t believe it is our last year already. When we moved to Florida, I was concerned about the education system and I knew I wanted my son in a Catholic school. I initially chose to look at St. Cecelia because it was a Blue Ribbon school, the same as the one we came from. However, what sold me was meeting the teachers and staff when I toured and how welcoming they all were. Even though my son was only entering 4th grade, I was excited about the IB Middle School program that he would be part of beginning in 6th grade. I was immediately sold on the IB philosophy and the attributes that he would learn. Now that he has been doing IB for 3 years, I am convinced that he will carry this through his high school and college years.

2. My kids have been in catholic schools their whole lives and this is the worst. The education is acceptable and the facility is nice but the staff and admin are very cold and robotic. If my child would agree to change schools, we would already be gone.

D. We wanted to love this school but the decisions and execution by the mgt is so bad we had to leave.

This school has such a wonderful sense of community. You can tell that the faculty enjoys being there and truly love their jobs. Not only are the academics way above par but the spiritual and Christian values our kids learn everyday there make this the best school for my family. Thank you to all the faculty and staff for all that you do for our children.

This school has no diversity in its student or teacher population. All faculty, administrative staff, and support staff are white and there is an astonishing lack of empathy for this to be a Catholic school.

Our family has been part of the St. Cecelia school community for five years. We chose St. Cecelia for our two children after the school they were attending was closed for financial reasons. There are many great aspects of the school (faculty, administration, curriculum, facilities, programs, etc.). The single most important trait of the school is that it is always improving, refining, and looking forward. In the five years we've attended, they've earned an IB certification, implemented a strategic technology plan, and made large capital investments (new gym, new playground, redesign classrooms). The enter school community (faculty, staff, teachers, students) is always looking for how the school can continue to evolve to foster the spiritual and academic growth of its students.

St. Cecelia School has been a part of my family's life for three generations. There is a reason why -- they firmly believe in raising good kids. The kids that go to St. Cecelia really care for each other. An example of this was at the last student talent show. The older kids were encouraging the younger kids and really supported them when their act ended. The teachers and administration put the kids first. Sure, there are business decisions that need to be made which makes some parents and kids unhappy. However, there are always reasons behind those decisions. I am a proud alumnus and very proud and blessed to have my son at St. Cecelia. Crusaders Rock!!
