My children have attended this school and received an outstanding education. CHS has offered my children the opportunity to take classes that are not often offered at other schools nearby. The faculty and staff are great and put children first.

My 3 kids graduated from Claremore High in the past 8 years & all were well prepared for college. They also loved getting to excel in sports, clubs & musical arts. Many of the teachers, coaches, counselors, principals & staff are so good to the students and include the parents often! I was so thankful for the teachers, counselors, staff & admin who set good examples for my kids of respect & honor for themselves and others. No place is perfect but Claremore High has some wonderful teachers for sure!

I loved my time at CHS. I was blessed with some of the best teachers and role models! I loved the atmosphere of CHS and would recommend to any incoming families.

I had 2 children attend Claremore High School with great success academically and in extra curricular activities. They both succeeded in college and in the working world. Loved our time there.

I am a former student of Claremore Public Schools and personally I can say that I was very thankful for my time there. I was fortunate to have instructors that cared about my education as well as my well being. Claremore High School provided many opportunities for students to become involved in various clubs/organizations, while providing room for students to create their own experiences through the creation of new clubs and/or flexibility of classes. Looking back at my experience with Claremore, I can say that I am proud to be a Claremore Zebra.

As a former student of Claremore High School, I can say with confidence that it provided me with an exceptional academic experience. During my time there, I was able to build a strong foundation of knowledge that has served me well in my further studies and career. The teachers were knowledgeable, passionate, and always willing to go the extra mile to help students understand difficult concepts. They encouraged us to ask questions and engage in discussions, which made learning much more engaging and enjoyable. In addition to academics, Claremore High School also provided extracurricular activities that helped me develop important life skills. The school also had a good sports program, which taught me the importance of teamwork and discipline. The school has a long-standing reputation for excellence, and I believe that it will continue to be a leader in education for many years to come.

I have 2 daughters that both graduated from Claremore High School. Both had very different experiences but both positive. CHS prepared my girls very well for real life after graduation.

Claremore High School is an exceptional institution that provides an outstanding learning environment - with large school opportunities and a smaller school (family) atmosphere. The school's faculty consists of highly qualified and dedicated teachers who are committed to providing students with a high-quality education at all levels of instruction. Of course, there were a few average experiences but overall they were excellent. Both my kids were fully prepared for their next step, college, where they thrived. Additionally, most of the teachers were intentional in ensuring that my children felt valued and supported. I had a daughter who experienced a little "mean girl" interaction with an athlete and the coach/teacher handled it immediately and appropriately. Although neither of my children were served by the special ed dept. they both had the opportunity through the special ed programs to work with and become friends with some of the students. There is something for everyone at CHS, AP/honors classes, STEM, athletics, concurrent classes and over 40 clubs. If there is not a club that interests a student there is a process for any student to begin a club. They are very intentional about getting students plugged in. Claremore High School's inclusive family involvement is a testament to its commitment to the community and ensuring that all students are successful. The communication when my daughter started 9th grade was average but over the years to when my son graduated, it was 100x better. The investment the community and district have made in improving STEM K-12 has made a huge difference in the digital IQ of the students and teachers.

Horrible staff.. Not all of them but quite a few. More concerned with sports than actually teaching students.

This school sucks and is so revolved around sports that they can't afford money for art projects

I am currently a senior at Claremore High-School, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time throughout the past four years. Claremore has an amazing academic program, including an Engineering program, a Bio-medical program, as well as numerous Honors and Advanced Placement courses. The teachers truly care about the success of their students, and the school strongly stands by its motto, "excellence from all, excellence for all."

I just graduated from this high school and while I can say that there are plenty of snotty kids and rude teachers, I couldn't have asked for a better school to call my Alma Mater. Mrs. Garroutte is one of the most helpful, understanding women I've ever met. Not to mention most of my English teachers (namely Andrews & Quiring) were inspirational and funny. They made me feel like a person AND a student. Not just a means to their paycheck. I've got to Claremore Public for 12 years (kindergarten - senior year) and its made the difference. I'm glad I received my education from this school. ALSO, I can vouch that Claremore does not exclude new students. I've always been kind to new kids and the rest of the student body is the same way. Yes, we have our lemons but every school does. You just have to move on and find somewhere to belong.

Talk about hard to fit in. You would think everyone would be nice, but if your not quite the normal person don't think your going to be liked very well, another tip they'll make fun of anything they can detail out the students. Some are very rude and hurtful. They'll laugh at you, throw stuff at you. In one class I even got yelled at by some girl I didn't even know on the first week. I was just talking to this girl I just met and she started calling me stupid and ugly. The teacher didn't do anything about it of course. So unless your kid isn't VERY outgoing and has a very low self esteem, I'd recommend going to a different school.... -new student
