As a parent of a child in this school. I was shocked to see that most of these scores and reviews are well over a decade old. There have been a lot of changes at this school since then. Notably the principal, who makes it her mission to engage parents and students. This school is easily the best in the district with smaller class sizes and more attentive teachers.

The teachers at Lakeshore are great and really care about our children. However, the principal, Mr. Cole, is less than par. Last year he tried to cancel kindergarten graduation! Very disappointing that Lakeshore is the only elementary school in the district- probably in all of CNY- that does NOT have field trips! Our children miss out on such a wonderful life experience. Time for a new principal for Lakeshore.

This is a great school with a great staff. Both of my kids have done amazingly at Lakeshore Road Elementary School.

This is great school that cares about our children and the community and the PTO is tops.

We have two children at the school. One has been there three years has not had a exceptional teacher yet. The other has been there two years and has had two great teachers. We've had little interaction with the school's administration but when we have, we found administrators to be cold, not very responsive and a little condescending. The specialty teachers, art, gym, music, etc., are very good and our children love their classes.

Laleshore Road School provides the children support and an enthused and knowledgable staff of well educated and dedicated teachers. The principal,Mr. Cole is responsive and cordial to parental concerns . The music and art teachers inspire my grandchildren . It is what a family brings to the school that results in positive growth for the students.
