My child is currently attending here, he was placed in a bilingual homeroom for some reason, when he does not speak Spanish. He felt so out of place. My child has told me on multiple occasions that the teacher only speaks Spanish when addressing school issues in class or important events & my child is clueless. Then asks the teacher what was said in those 15 min. Teacher gives him a 1min review of what was said in 15min. (Like really 15min talking & all you tell the child is basically 2 sentences of what was said.) I have emailed the teacher & has told me that they’d take care of it. That they’d email me back & I never got a reply. I feel as if he is discriminating my child cause he’s Hispanic and doesn’t speak Spanish so he ignores my child. I will not be sending my other child here in the upcoming year. There’s always so much going on. Fights, fights & more fights. There are way to many kids at this school & not enough security.

Im a mother and my child attends this school over all they do have couple good teachers, but my child has told me that teachers do go over work they have already done to many times they tell me its a waist of time and prefer to be taught something different than the same thing they were taught 2 or 3 weeks ago. To me it seems some teachers are just being lazy. At one time my child told me that the teacher didn't want to teach something different due to they are dumb the teacher said or they talk and don't pay attention . A certain teacher has told my child that due to capability of not knowing how to remember things her grade was lowered. My child tried to tell the teacher why her grade was lowered all the teacher said gave my child a smerky smile and said some dumb coments that made my child feel really bad and trying to put her down .

The special education staff is very knowledgeable and available for communication. I was able to send my student's teacher an email every week to check on his grades and progress in his classes. The staff is willing to help as long as the parents are willing to do their part! Thank you for all that you do!
