i really love the macs , we are somewhat newer and have a very large family. started in 2022-23 school year and i saw a huge improvement with my kids grades, the teachers had modified assignment's to get them caught up quicker and it worked.my kids hand writing and spelling changed drastically with in 3 months. the kids made friends pretty fast and my kids that where never much of sporty joiners, are now on teams in band doing well academically without 504 or mods to the plans. the only child that still has a iep or 504 is my deaf son only because hes deaf and nothing will change that. the school also has been doing very well with that and there has been no bullying . they do have limited class choices but they are smaller school and you find that in all smaller school. but that core lesson plans are way better. the kids are engaged with the lessons.im very happy the school has been great to my family i have kids in all 3 macs schools. 1-9th my kids are a different religion and they still have been really great about it. the lunch staff has alternate options for my kids that don't eat pork. my kids not going to mass also hasn't been an issue . all in all i do expect my that they all will graduate from the macs system unless we move and i dont think that will happen. i couldn't be prouder. the one thing that i was truly shocked about is you actually get a family here. they have lots of partys and get togethers. even birthday party's have a very high attendance rates. they have your graduation class events . everyone class of 2031 meets at parks and has pot luck what seems like 2x a yr. back to school beach partys. jocks and the nerdy kids are hanging out. its a really lovely thing to see!

A truly awesome experience! I've had a somewhat rough education through the public school system, but mad it through until the 8th grade -> Freshman summer, there I made my move into the MACS system and I will never look back!

Enrolling my child at MACS was the worst decision I have made as a parent. Now that he is in high school and they offer VERY FEW CLASSES, he had to sign up for the SAME CLASS TWICE. He got an A the first time, but the school told him he would have to take the class again because "any other class he could take were already filled." Makes since when the school doesn't even have business education or a industrial shop, but I was hoping that with paying tuition costs they would be expanding what students our offered. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE.

My daughter has shared major concerns with me about the bullying that is occurring to students who are not involved in sports. She has friends who have left, due to the bullying that has been overlooked by the athletic director and can't be stopped by a principal because they don't have one. I pray that I can get my daughter enrolled in Regis High School next year than regardless of not being an athlete, my daughter can receive the Catholic education that I pay for.

My child transferred into the McDonell Area Catholic School system as a freshman this year. She was immediately accepted in the freshman family and has blossomed in her academic, social, and faith life. I recommend this school to anyone who would like to have Jesus Christ as a part of their child's education.

McDonell gave me a great jumpstart on life. The teachers really get to know the students and give everything back to instruct in a healthy environment. I was able to transition from McDonell to a college/university smoothly and without any major bumps. I highly recommend.
