This school has many flaws but has some good things.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the opinions against Southeastern are usually very biased. I have never seen someone who didn't have discipline problems complain about Southeastern's discipline. SE also has the best academics in Ross county, which is continuously shown every year by our High OGT scores (we meet more indicators than anyone else in the county). Southeastern also caters to "Special Needs" students better then any other schools in the area, hence the reason SE has the largest percentage of "Special Needs" in the area. All in all, Southeastern is a great school. This is written by someone who has gone their for 13 years now and has always put their best effort forward in both class and extra curricular activities. As with any school, you get what you put in.

I have a 10th grade student at Southeastern. My child gets really good grades as well. Most of the teachers at this school are very good at what they do. They do however have flaws as any school would. The choir program is a joke so stay away from that program. The English teacher doesnt put all grades in grade book and punishes the students grades for her lack of organization skills. If your handicapped dont go here they dont even have handicapped doors, there is a child that i have seen fighting to get through the doors. Its a shame they havent made an effort to install handicapped doors for anyone that needs them. I do agree with the people saying if your not in sports at this school you dont fit in. I also believe if your not a child of an employee of the school you dont matter.

the school is failing. the school has been failing its students there for quite some time im s student there and think the school wastes money and doesent give the students proper help they require...the school is terrible like the other reviews say and if you dont play sports dont let your child go here they will be ignored and i promise you that!

They've only gotten worse since i left earlier this year. They are far to controlling they truly don't care about any of the students. The kids in sports may have it easier than others there but one thing they don't have is life experience by getting treated special they don't learn how hard life is and by not having that they get hurt more in the end they wont make it in RL where they have to deal with people who wont give them handouts but none the less; Don't send your kids to this school!!!!!

if you do not play sports do not go here. u are like a ghost if u are not involved in sports. but if u do play ur in for treat. u get to bully kids n get away with it oh and u can get out of class for no reason! yea but i kno first hand tht if ur not into them they dont care about u. the only thing thts good about SE is the A.G department.
