    I attended Whitney from 1956-1965, I considered it like entering a castle, the teachers were so dedicated to our learning, it was the days of Camelot, a truly magical time. Joel Werner class of 1965

    My school is full of loving and caring people totally devoted to their children. Our school slowly is improving, but it is a difficult task. We have many obstacles- poverty, lack of English, gang filled streets, lack of employment opportunities. School has tremendous outreach into the community that is still underutilized by families.
