I have worked here for 12 years and can't imaging working anywhere else. In a city where public education is often disheartening, Pritzker shines through.

You will get random demerits at times just for no reason, sometimes even for talking during silent lunch. Silent lunch? Oh, because it gets 'too' loud with over 200 kids in the same room. The lunch times are 25 minutes and if they feel like closing the bathroom during lunch, they will. The only reason everyone uses the bathroom during lunch is because if we use it any other time of the day, One will have to stay for 15 minutes after school or recieve a detention. The bathrooms are never clean either. Do you like speaking spanish? Well that's too bad. If you speak any other language other than English, even when talking to your friends during lunch, you will get in trouble. The discipline teachers will find any reason for you to be stuck in detention on a friday for 3 hours. You tell a joke to one of your friends, you get demerits for 'laughing too loud' you need help during class because you don't understand something? Oh well you better come after school because the teachers will not go over it again no matter how bad you're struggling. All the school cares about are standarized tests. Test everyweek. I hate this school.

My daughter Vanessa is a junior this year. The educators are hard working and care about their students future. They all have the same goal in getting the children ready for college. I'm so proud of how independent and hard working my daughter has become since being at Pritzker College Prep. I'm even aware of their words of motivation ( being proactive). Special thank you to all the educators that has worked with Vanessa. *Hard working school, I recommend it to students that are determine to succeed. -A.R.

An excellent learning environment that puts up with nothing but integrity from all. Students are dedicated to their studies and teachers are passionate about making a difference. Test scores are at an average 21.5 ACT. Students work hard and are motivated everyday to be the best that they can be!! Teachers work together to create a level of rigor that their students will be able to keep up with and motivate the to continue seeking that rigor upon their college 4 year completion.
