The school's approach is focused on attaining the elusive +1 level 1 status. This is a fine goal to have, but the students require an outlet of energy too. There are no sport programs in the school, the school teachers are diverse, the students are not, and sometimes the communication is slow, if at all, and not sure how safe the area is. Have seen adults gambling and hanging out on school property at different times of the day. Granted if the administration improved its communication with parents, addressed the safety concerns, and fought for sport activities as some of these highly rated schools i.e. Andrew Jackson and Skinner West, Frazier International would indeed become +1 level status school they are chasing.

My daughter just started Kindergarten at Frazier and she LOVES it. I am amazed with how much she has learned in only a month and a half. She entered Kindergarten unable to read and already she is reading sentences. Her math skills have also grown tremendously. Since it is such a small school, I feel like, as a parent, my voice really matters and the principal actually listens to parents' suggestions. Students have consistent access to computers and other interactive technology. My daughter especially loves Spanish and art class. Class sizes cap off at 25 in every grade, so students get all the attention they need. If you are looking for a school with very strong academics, where your child will not be lost in a crowd, I highly recommend applying for Frazier International.

Frazier is an outstanding school with a very hard working faculty, staff and administration. Everyone seems to have individual student's needs in mind. There is also a mutual respect between the students and adults in the building. The IB program helps students to relate to their learning and gives it a context. Although Frazier has great performance on the ISAT, they are not just a test focused school.
