My son transferred in and he is adjusting really well. He has the support from the admin to the teachers. The kids have also been very welcoming. It’s a refresher to be constantly updated on his work. Dr. Williams runs a tight but organized community.

I love this school my 6 nephews and 5 nieces go to this school they are all in age of 1st grade to 7th and love this school every day they call me and tell me how much fun is. Please enroll some more kids there are very nice/kind people and they are very smart.

Although there is a lot of work, I love this school. I have had 3 of my children attend Earhart. They each had an easy transition to high school. The teachers work extremely hard and some of them go above and beyond their responsibilities as a teacher. I have known many of the teachers to spend an ample amount of their own money when funds or supplies were an issue. They are definitely underpaid for all that the district now requires them to do. You will find many of the teacher after school, mentoring, preparing and still working. I wish they had more programs but I know as a small school, funding can be an issue. My children loved their teachers and even continue to stay in touch with them. The school shares the same high expectations I have for my own children. I would suggest this school to parents who are looking for a school that is safe and will push your child academically.

Horrific School! I am appalled with the lack of respect for father's rights with this principal and staff. If you are a single father STAY AWAY from this school! Subpar education to be expected from administrators and staff that lacks everyday common sense. Lazy, overpaid, and grossly underworked! If you want your child to have two days off a week this is the district for you. Please beware!

This is my child's second year in attendance. From day one in kindergarten the staff that I have encountered has been phenomenal! Dr. Williams is an awesome dedicated woman who is capable of producing amazing results. Also, I can't forget about Mr. Cain who is sure to brighten your day at all times. I expect nothing but the best from my child and this is because he is surrounded by excellence all day. Small school........ BIG OUTCOME!!!!!!!! A PROUD PARENT

Wasn't dissatisfied at first. However, as time has gone on this school's flaws have become evident. Fun at school is not an option here. The student morale is very low. If you know the administration staff personally your child will have an significant advantage here. If you do not, please think twice before sending your child here because they will use your child as a scapegoat. If your child grasps concepts well the first time it is given, they will do well here academically. If not, no support for your child will be offered and they will be left behind. The students are not exposed to any other cultures here. They do not explore any other nationalities of the world other than Africa. They very rarely take field trips. As a level 1+ school, I expected more of a well rounded educational environment. Instead I found my child in a place where proper leadership is lacking. They do not value the spirit of childhood here. They are celebrated for no reason in my opinion. If your child is has an issue with violent behavior then this is the place for them. They will cater to your child and will not bother you about their behavior. The principal has stated in a current newsletter if you and your child don't conform to her standards, "Earhart is not the school for you". Honestly, she's right! She is downright admitting to not being a person to consider the needs of her students and their families.

This school was a great neighborhood school. Now that they have the new principal Dr. Williams the school has declined, I think the disciplinary measure are way too far, not enough activities for the children and the moral is very low, I will say my children will be here one last year and then we will move on. Dr. Williams seem to not really care about children really learning all she does is suspend kids one after another, no activites to have the children more involved and virtually no field trips, this school has become a joke and it is time my children and I leave!!

Our family has had 3 generations to attend Earhart. It has been a great experince for our children. The school continues to improve.

The teachers really care about the students. The school is a bit overcrowded, especially the upper grades.

In 2010, Earhart Elementary faces the problem of an oversized 7th grade class--36 in number at the present time. An estimated 1/4 of these students have special needs. This contributes to behavior problems such as bullying which are not adequately being addressed. Although the staff is dedicated and talented, the teachers don't have sufficient numbers to deal with the problems and CPS has a too high limit of 42 students as a maximum. Also, it would be helpful for Administration to display more respect and compassion for young parents.

I went to Earhart myself years ago, during that time they positioned themselves 'Better Than All The Rest'. Now there is a lot to be improved upon as far as education and discipline,
