This school has improved drastically over the past two years. This year, it's even better. Students are really starting to have fun and enjoy learning. The results has also improved.

This school is in need of an over haul. Unfortunately, the majority of the staff are too young and inexperienced to handle some of the challenges facing the children in that community.

The best things about CICS Washington Park are the passionate, dedicated teachers and the college-going culture. The school has gone through a lot of change in the past two years, which is always difficult, but I truly believe the school has come out stronger. I can't get over how committed the teachers I work with are. Students are learning more and more (check out our improved CPS ratings!), and I'm so excited to make this year even better.

This school has gone through significant change for the better, and that is proven in the results. The school received an award from the Mayor for growth in the 99th percentile of the nation. Our students do have educational trips, and last year we had a beautiful 8th grade ceremony. We're excited about the amount of growth our students made this past year, and we have a very dedicated staff.

I have been a parent at this school for many years and the last two years they have change tremedously for the worse. The kids have no sports teams, no educational field trips, they don't have 8th graduation cermonies, they play favortism with the students, their breakfast and lunch program is horrible, etc. they only have a hand full of quality staff. Oh they only focused on testing last year the kids didn't learn a thing outside of that.

This was the first time that my sons came into a Chicago school. This is just the beginning but my sons have taken on the great teachings of going to college. Everyday they come back with cheers and know the name about colleges from all over. Great school and the earliest start is at 7:30 am

I like the school and what it is teaching my child. I just wish that more parents would be involved in the school. If more parents were involved this school could be much better. It's a shame the more parents do not feel the same way that I do about their children's education.

Originally, my husband and I had our children in two private schools. As time went, (as well as financial hardships) we had to choose a school that was up to our standards and one that our children would get the best learning tools and teachers that showed professionalism, care, patience and an overall concern for their students. Guess what? We found that at Washington Park CICS. No only are our children getting the best education, the teachers and staff are OUTSTANDING. If there are any parents who want to find that perfect fit for their children, I recommend Washington Park CICS. Oh, and did I mention that my children love, adore and respect their teachers. Great School my son really enjoys it and the staff is wonderful they do a good job of working with the parents to address the kids needs. I would definitely recommend it.

Outstanding school.I appreciate how the teachers and staff are hands on with the students.My child is in kindergarten and not only is she reading but can tell me all about the 7 continents and much more.Go Wildcats!!!

I like this school because the teachers are great. My child reads and writes well. He also knows a lot about geography, science, maths....The teachers are very nice and are always willing to listen and communicate.

I would recommend this school to others, the teachers and curriculum are above the normal standards of public schools.
