in my opinion i like this school. food is good sometimes, people are nice! some are rude, but that's just how they are. some people are bullies... but like... it's fine i guess... you can always get revenge or just ignore the haters! but the dress code... if you don't wear your complete uniform you literally get detention. how dumb.... and the teachers.... some are good, some are bad.... but teachers are so far good at teaching. also, it's kind of mid for real. but it's fine! as long as you have a good time, it's fine. i'd recommend going here if you don't care about peoples opinions, and if you have VERY good mental health.

My daughter is going into second grade. Her kindergarten teacher held her indoors by herself as she watched her classmates play outside all because she didn't know her Spanish words!!! Yes school staff really does bully. And the principal refuses to remove my daughter from the dual language Spanish program. Beware!!! I'm going to try to transfer her to the out of district school closer to my house (yes kids can attend out of district schools).

Its a 5 to 6 yr old school but its faculty needs tired, exhausted, over run by the principal's politics. I worked as a parent volunteer for few months and its a TOXIC environment for teachers! Let alone the students! OMG!!!The school seems to be run as if its a Military School, Discipline is its #1 priority!! Kids are not even that bad compared to other schools I've visited and volunteered! I'm a STRONG parent advocate and ALL parents need to voice there experience! Otherwise how will these types of schools get better?!!

I would rate it a 5 star because of the grade I was in the teachers were amazing and supportive and as well as charismatic but as well strict. The way the teachers treated us and helped us was truly visible in our NWEA scores since we grew drastically.

This school is terrible. My cousins who go here always tell me the teachers yell at them for no reason and are way too strict and pick favorites. They hate going to the school. Some people say they should enjoy it because it is new and shiny, THAT is all it is. My friend who recently transferred from Azuela to Lee elementary where I go, also complains the school is inadequate when it comes down to teachers and just preparing them for the next grade.

It's an overall great school. While there is strict rules in place I don't think they are unreasonable. I have had great communication with both of my sons teachers for the four years they have been there. I do believe there needs to be more parent involvement (I include myself) the expectations are high of the students which makes them work that much harder. I'm pleased with the school.

This school could be the best around the neighborhood if not already. Could definitely be the best in Chicago. It still needs to work on a few issues but you could see improvement. Just like everything else it needs parent support. But overall I truly like it if you go by the rules and teach your kids discipline and respect this is where you want them to be. This school got some of the best teachers no doubt!

Terrible school! My daughter would cry and complain that her teacher disliked her and would never pick her. It was upsetting to me when I actually witnessed it and she was only in Kindergarten! I requested to see the casemanger and it never occured. The office staff is rude and it seems that they have a major attitude! I am happy that my daughter will never attend this school. It needs major revisions.

As a working parent, I'm very disappointed in this school. Cosmetically, this is a beautiful school, brand new!!! But It seems like this school only caters to "stay at home" moms. I work full time to provide for my family, not by choice, but because I have to. There have been numerous times that they never sent home news letters and to make it worse they don't have a website to refer to. Also, you can tell some of the teachers just don't care. When my husband went to pick up our child, he wanted to ask a few questions to his teacher, the teacher just shrugged her shoulders, walked away, and went to the main office to swipe out!! This is very SCARY & UPSETTING!!!
