District 170 as a whole caters to kids and parents who couldn't care less about education and they routinely take the path of least resistance. My child knows how to dance "The Whip" and "The Nay Nay" but not how to multiply? Unacceptable!

Roosevelt is a very good school, my kids loved it my wife and I loved it. The principal is very involve, the teachers are awesome. My kids had high honor each year they attended Roosevelt. So for all those negative comment for the school, I want to say that its not the school that's bad. Is the student that participate. Maybe as a parent you should be more involve with your kids activities.

This school doesn't support children with special needs. I have two children who has special needs. Its not evident of their disability visually. We have been bullied and disrespected at for 10 years by principal and assistant principle. Please if you have special needs kids don't leave them in the hands of Roosevelt. They don't care for parent involvement only only when they want you around. This school is nice nasty. Zero rating.

The children were ridiculous at the school. They harassed and bullied. They had major home life problems. Besides that, the teachers were great!

My child has attended Roosevelt School for four years now, starting in second grade. Maybe he isn't the smartest kid in the bunch, but he has been helped along tremendously by after school tutoring, small reading groups and special teachers who work with him specifically. Without this help, I don't know where he would be today. I love it when he comes home and is excited to tell me about what he learned that day. The day he graduates from Roosevelt and goes on to high school will be a proud day for us!

Awesome school!!!!!! The principal is very involved, and that's what matters. The teachers are there for their students which makes learning more fun.
