Fought all year for my son to get what he needs, denied twice. Transferred to another school, son is doing great!

As a military family having been to schools in different states, Davis is by far the best elementary my children have attended. I do not feel the test scores used to grade the school give an accurate picture of Davis and that is just another part of the problem with standardized testing. Davis is a phenomenal school!!!

This is a great school! The staff is very welcoming and open to suggestions or any concerns. PTO is always organizing fun events for the kids. My daughter has thrived at this school. The rating has dropped on this website, but the test scores for 2016 were actually higher than last year, so I anticipate the rating to increase steadily in the years to come.

Lovely new construction school, situated in a great neighborhood with equally great staff. I've had two kids attend Davis and have watched them flourish and succeeed in both academics and socially. Couldn't be happier with all aspects of this school, especially the moral of the staff and the wonderful principal. Not quite sure why Davis' rating has fallen.

We have 1 child in Davis; having moved here at the start of the school year. The school is brand new (Aug 2015), clean and the staff is friendly. Mrs. Emmons is fantastic with the students and handles conflicts immediately. She does not lead the kids to answers( which seems typical nowadays). She asks open ended questions. We aren't from this area and while there is an adjustment whenever moving; we appreciate the responsiveness and willingness of school staff to answer questions. The secretary has always been friendly and happy to answer questions. Our Childs teacher was consistent identifying strengths and meeting 1:1 with student to set goals that encouraged student to work harder. I've been to school/class functions and the kids are always happy and well mannered. The school acknowledges honor roll with a small assembly and the music/holiday performances are really cool with participation by all students. We are Very happy with our and our child's experience at Davis Elememtary!
