All three of my children attended Marquette, each with their own unique learning styles and social strengths. Thanks to the exceptional education they received from K-12 in the Rockwood School District, they have all pursued college and successful careers, one is even finishing their final semester with a job offer already in hand.One of my children began their journey with an IEP in special education and, with the support of dedicated teachers, progressed to advanced placement courses and the CCL program. I’m incredibly grateful for the educators who not only guided us through the process but also encouraged us to seek additional resources outside the district when they saw it would be beneficial. Their dedication made all the difference in my child’s success.

We moved out to the area specifically for the school. I DO NOT recommend you do the same. They do not value the children or the staff. So many great teachers, however the higher ups that run the district only care about padding their own pockets. Shame on this district.

We have a sophomore at Marquette HS that came in new to the area as a freshman, so he did not attend MS in Missouri. Marquette has a wide variety of class choices, especially in the engineering area, which is nice. The academics can be challenging if you have honors or AP classes. I do think Rockwood and Missouri schools as a whole are behind in foreign language teaching compared to other areas of the country. Socially it is hard to "break in" to some very tight knit groups that exist at the school. Students by and large are not open or welcoming to new students and neither are their parents, so that is probably why. We have been a part of some athletic teams hoping that would bond our child with other students more, but so far, that has not happened. Administration cannot possibly know how individual students are doing socially and emotionally because the school is just too large. Academically I am pleased with Marquette so far and hope my child can attend a good college.

Two of my children attend MHS, one senior and one freshman. The reputation at MHS is well earned. My senior will be attending Mizzou in the Fall. There are so many opportunities to pursue just about any interest your child can have. Academically, MHS is rated one of the top HS in the nation. We love it!

My son transferred into Marquette this year as a sophomore. While he lacked interest in his two previous schools and performed far beyond his potential, Marquette's welcoming environment, outstanding teachers, and open-minded student body has helped maked his transition a very posistive experience. He now enjoys going to school and works his tail off to do well. I credit the principal leadership and excellent teachers for Marquette providing the perfect balance of competition and individual attention to help every child reach their potential. Additionally, their library, classrooms, and other facilties are state-of-the-art. Parental involvement is encouraged, excpected, and obviously required for students to do their best. Rockwood is the best school disctrict in St. Louis and Marquette is the best in Rockwood. My oldest son attended Eureka High School so I have experience with two high schools in the Rockwood District.
