We love Chapman! The teachers have been great especially during the pandemic. The school has stayed open all year and I could not say enough great things about how they tried to keep things as normal for the kids as possible.

This school teaches to the test. A few weeks are dedicated to this. It doesn't challenge gifted students. There are very few field trips. The community is generally materialistic. Parents are involved in volunteering time or fundraising but have little persuasion with curriculum decisions. The lunch and recess aides take their responsibilities far too seriously therefore there is little relaxation for kids even during their free time. The shortest lunch period is 20 min. long. The pressure to succeed is not healthy.
