The administration is accessible and the teachers are almost without exception excellent instructors, engaged in the material, and care about their students. The opportunities are there for students to take challenging classes, pursue sports, play music, act in plays, and more. There is definitely not too much work, and if anything there could be more and classes could be more challenging..

Such a negative experience. Regret ever putting my kids in this situation.

I’m in this school, and only about 1 of my core teachers I’m actually fond of. Whenever I walk in, my anxiety increases and they give so much homework. I truly do believe this school is trying its best, but the teachers go through a lot and sometimes arent at their best for the kids. Adding on to this, I’ve spent many nights crying because of work and the bathroom stalls are mostly vandalized. Please stop giving so much homework, it really damages the kid’s self esteem.

I am in this is school and the amount of rudeness in this school from the teachers is horrible. One time I was trying to turn in late homework and said I could never turn it in again.

Chelsea Beach Middle School is one of the best middle school in southeast Michigan. The test scores are always well above average. But that's not just what they concentrate on, they make sure every student knows that they matter. The Principal is one of the best, he is at every music concert and try's to make it to most home sporting events. He knows all the kids by name and makes sure no one feels left out. The staff is fun and energetic and make learning fun. Chelsea School has a very high percentage of students that go off to college after graduation and the middle school is where that process starts.
