We’ve had mixed experiences at St. John’s Lutheran School. The teachers are phenomenal in how they love their students. There are special activities like reading buddies, tribes and chapel buddies. My kids have been bullied and administration has been dismissive. The special education accommodations are not tracked which requires that parents constantly remind teachers and intervene. In 7th and 8th grade students are not allowed to practice or play sports if they’re not the top 5-6 on the team. Overall St. John’s has been safer than public school but not ideal for our family.

We have 3 children in this school and couldn't be happier. The quality of teachers and staff that they provide sets them apart. Our teachers have the ability to teach to multiple levels of children within a classroom meeting the needs of the struggling child as well as challenging those that excel at their grade levels. Children will experience many different opportunities in addition to normal curriculum and get a solid Christian education. They learn how to interact with people in respectful and kind ways.

I enrolled our first child at St John's in kindergarten for the convenience. She is now in the fourth grade and we could not be happier with St John's. Our daughter is excelling on many fronts there and she loves being there. Now our youngest daughter is enrolled in the full time preschool and she loves school She even cries on the weekend when she can't go.
