Not a lot of teacher turnover. Dedicated teaching staff. Not the most communicative administration but individual teachers are responsive. Ps most of these reviews are worthless, just visit the schools you like and go with your gut.

I’m almost all the time called the n word at this school, also 2/4 teachers always are on my case and never on anyone else. The other 2 teachers are completely fine with me but the other two are always saying I’m a bad child, and I’m always talking back. One time the teacher gave me a warning for checking if a Chromebook was broken, then after I asked why he only gave me a warning he gave me another warning, then right when class was about to end he gave me a warning for “talking” when another kid was talking to me. This school does nothing about racism, teachers disrespecting kids, and when kids have a headache or a stomachache.

This is the worst school ever. Everyone is a thief and a bully. No one cares about you here, and everyone is racist. they will say racist slurs and the N-word and no one will care. The teachers are so chill, so literally you only get bullied and nothing else. the tests and quizzes NEVER match with what we are learning, and it is extremely disorganized. Kids are bullied with water poured on their heads, and they will literally break your stuff just to see you scream. They will record, and in the nearby library where we went, they were always screamed at and hated. PLEASE DON'T GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR KIDS' MENTAL HEALTH GONE. The homework is a lot and they don't care about you. you are treated like a homework machine. I BEG YOU, DON'T TORTURE YOUR KIDS HERE PLEASE!

Excellent school with a wonderful staff. Plenty of extra curricular activities for the students to get involved I would highly recommend the score to anyone.

Terrible. I’m a former student and the students there are mostly terrible people, students are bullied and it is handled terribly. Fidget toys were mostly banned, which would have been absolutely terrible if you were a neurodivergent child. This school helps children have terrible character and become entitled little jerks.

I am so grateful and relieved to have both of my children out of this school. We had a miserable experience at Buist Academy.

Buist academy prepares children to be global citizens. They learn to adapt and adjust to situations because they are presented with them. The teachers lead the way by designing projects that will force them to think about the impact they have on places far away. Academic excellence is emphasized but not at the expense of nurturing good character.

Buist academy was a perfect fit for my child. The kids were so welcoming and accepting. The administrative staff is amazing, and the teachers go above and beyond my expectations. Any child would be lucky to go there.
