Possibly the worst school ever. Kids all use AI to pass and teacher know it. Ratio is 60:1 in every class. Teachers don’t actually teacher. The worst part is the credits say they “transfer” but this is not true and it’s up to the school you try to move to and no A rated school in AZ takes their credits. I tried. You’ll be trapped once you start with the worst education ever. No dual enrollment. No money for college like the website states. It’s all lies. I have 2 students enrolled and about to finally finish and I can’t wait to be done and spread the word and save others. This school is a legit joke. It is all about profit. They take all the states money and the students get NOTHING! They don’t even provide computers, internet services, or any real activities. Please, please stay away. It seems awesome to do school on your own time but not worth all you will loose, I assure you that these one star reviews are ALL correct.

We found the school and curriculum to be structured and highly engaging. The staff and faculty were responsive and answered the questions we had very quickly. We found the course work to be more challenging, with higher expectations for mastery, than the brick and mortar school our child previously attended. A great choice if you're looking for quality education and flexibility to complete work and learn.

In my opinion, this is the worst possible school that ever existed. The counselors are non existent and ignore kids and parents and at the end fail the students by not doing their jobs. It is always tough to reach someone to help with anything. There is such a huge disconnection. I haven’t had any good experience with this school. Overall, my son highly disliked and regrets going here. Fail across the board. Proceed with caution if going here.

teachers don't do much, and it's just ai that doesn't make sense. the only good part is being able to wear pajamas. and the worst part is, that some teachers do NOTHING if you are struggling.

So, I did Primavera for my 8th grade year. By then, it was the 3rd year in a row I was doing online so I was already pretty upset about it. It had *some* cool courses that since it was self-paced, I got done with REALLY quickly. However, the math just never made sense. The teachers could never help, nor could a tutor they provided. For the science course, we had to go out and buy materials, so I couldn't even finish the course. Primavera genuinely tanked my mental health. School never should have been online. I am currently going to an in-person school for my freshman year of highschool and i'm happier than i've been since mid-2020.

The teachers do the absolute bare minimum. They don't teach more than 15 minutes a day in the morning in an optional class, the rest is ai reading to your kids.

The shining stars in this school would be the SpEd department and the 5th grade team. Otherwise, the administration lacks the leadership necessary to appropriately manage the school to ensure all students are successful. Corporate education isn't better, although it may seemingly be an option for parents whose children struggle in a traditional school setting (and this is where the school profits).My daughter began middle school with no transition or preparation from 5th grade, an onslaught of tech issues that immediately put her behind, teachers that either refused to implement her IEP or have not been trained well enough to do so, it taking 3 weeks to assign her SpEd teacher, and an admin team that refuses to accept responsibility or accountability for any of the problems they have caused. My daughter was set up for failure, then forced into a sink or swim situation, which led to a quick and steep mental health decline to a point where it became a full mental health crisis. The Vice President of Primavera became "sidetracked" when I attempted to arrange a meeting with her about the disastrous school year my daughter has been subjected to and present ways to move forward. It's been 3 days and she still hasn't responded.Although the 5th grade curriculum was well-paced and my daughter did quite well, the middle school curriculum is what an adult taking community college courses would experience, except there are 6 instead of 4. We were often doing school work for 10-12 hours per day without any relief from admin or teachers despite numerous requests. Not one of her general education teachers recognized or responded to her unique needs until I threatened to report them to the state for failing to implement the IEP.Primavera isn't appropriate for students that have an IEP, 504, mental or emotional issues as admin nor Gen Ed teachers are equipped to meet the complex needs of such students. The rigor of Primavera is only appropriate for students that are gifted, advanced, or only have the ambition for extreme levels of academic success, and that have thoroughly involved parents; students are not able to be independent in their learning.Otherwise, the education at Primavera is substandard such as most schools in AZ. Barely passing classes and assignments and allowing students to further slide through the cracks is the student expectation I'm beginning to understand through our experience.

An overwhelming amount of work given to students. There is Junior level Algebra being given to Freshmen's!! Each class has a student doing at least 2 or more assignments a day. Projects are being given out basically every two weeks which are mostly worth about 30% of students grade. This school gives no breaks to students whatsoever. Keeping a grade above 80% is practically impossible. If a student gets a 90% on a checkpoint, their grade goes down. That makes absolutely no sense! They are forced to get 100% or their grade goes down. If students get 100% their grade still does not go up, it remains the same. This is absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend this school. Please, keep your children away from this school!

My student has enjoyed the flow of trimester classes and has more time than previous traditional schools. The lack of communication is unacceptable. You get email communication only and that most times is to let you know classes are starting today. The teachers are fairly easy to communicate with. If you have a student with IEP there is NO flexibility. The school prides themselves on flexibility to learn anytime of the day but this isn’t always the case. They made 3 changes in past year to how to help students with IEP and never a discussion with family or student. Only implemented the change and expected attendance at specific times and days and communicated only via email a day before. Students with jobs who do their work in evenings only aren’t available for this. Do research, great if no special education needs. My student does well overall and needs accommodations for specific things but they don’t have any idea how to accommodate these plans yet. They tell you they do.

Great school! if you want to have freedom to study at different times of day or night. The classes are designed to keep you interested in making progress. There are many, many tests of various degree of difficulty and you can re-take most of them. You can communicate with teachers and they are very responsive. I think that material, class design and overall studying conditions are perfect for one who wants to catch up with high school classes without going back to regular school. Thank you for being there.

This school lacks communication skills! I am so glad my kids graduate soon. Dealing with this school is more stress thanit's worth. If you are thinking of enrollingyour kids....don6. Research other online schools. .

I really like this school. The course material is very informational and I like that you can always go back and read something again. Before online school, I was taking pre-algebra, but I didn't really understand how it would be useful in life and math was really hard for me. I don't know if it was the combination of real-world problems and examples, or just the way they explained algebraic concepts, but this school seriously helped me understand algebra's use and I think it set me up to be good at the harder math in the future. The teachers are helpful and kind and they usually respond to my questions and emails within a day. All that being said, the average student's resistance to annoying or difficult assignments is going to be a huge weakness here. It is very easy to fall behind and very difficult to catch up. I think I've been caught up on all of my assignments for a total of 10 days this semester (not consecutive). I read reviews on this website before enrolling, and didn't expect that I would have as much difficulty as other people did. I was wrong. I think it's a great school and a very good way to learn, but unless you are phenomenal at time management, you will probably struggle.My advice for anyone who is going to attend this school:TAKE NOTES! I have never liked taking notes, but I can not stress enough how important it is at this school. Take quality notes and list the names of the assignments as well as the date you did them. This will help you so much with succeeding in the school.Also, communicate with your teachers and ask for help! They are very friendly people and are a lot less scary than they might seem. My teachers have checked in on me when I'm struggling in the class and always speak to me as an equal instead of talking down to me. I was very intimidated by them for most of the year and had no reason to be. They don't bite :)I would definitely recommend this school to a friend, and I recommend it to you. If you are a parent, do what you can to stay in the loop about what your kid has to do and how much they have done. If you are a student, don't assume that you won't have the same struggles as other people do. I made the mistake of thinking I was better than everyone else, and it caused me a lot of anxiety trying to catch up.

Homework:This school allows students to review live session videos, tutoring sessions, and individual lessons if they are stuck. We don't technically have homework, but if you need to catch up it's easy and efficient.Character:Personally, I feel a lot more confident in my school work and I learn so much better than at Public schools.Teachers: Teachers here are exceptional! You have all sources of contact information if you need them, there is an inbox, their email address, and even their phone number. Teachers don't slack of and are engaged in helping students. I've never had better teachers!Learning Differences:For students who may have a hard time reading, you can highlight the text or lesson and it reads to you. There are plenty of videos to watch that help guide students for successful learning. Leadership:Between students and teachers, leadership is amazing. Students are very participative and teachers perform excellent qualities and promote excellent productivity, performance, etc. For students who are behind or are bad at a subject, teachers are on board and help them understand to their best abilities. Students approach learning in a very healthy way, and I actually enjoy school!Bullying: Students do not bully, but when it happens during a live session the teacher will typically kick the attacker out of the session. Mean comments on discussion boards are deleted. I've never seen or had issues with bullying with Primavera students. Overall:This school is like no other. My mom, brothers, and I have had and currently have great experiences with this school with little to no issues. I get my work done so much faster and easier than in public schools. Teachers in traditional schools teach you to MEMORIZE, while at Primavera you are taught to LEARN. It's outstanding. I highly recommend this school for people who want to fit around their schedule, or who want a flexible way to school. You can do bits and pieces each day rather than all at once, and you have the opportunity to catch up over the weekend. I will definitely write a review for Primavera Online High School when I reach there in just 4 short months. I've been a student at Primavera for 8th-grade year, and there is no doubt you wouldn't love it. They have clubs you can attend, and I heard there is even prom you can go to. I've never been at a better school than Primavera Online. I would totally recommend it and their performance is outstanding. I know the next 4 years will be great!!

If your child struggles academically at all and needs additional help or needs to be on an IEP program do not enroll in this school. They do not want to provide additional help and would rather unenroll your child so they don’t have to deal with it.

My child has a specific learning disability. The support from school staff was good but the curriculum was more difficult than at my child's last brick and mortar school. It wasent doable for my child.

Terrible. Online summer school math has videos and lessons that do not address the much more difficult homework problems. Online tutor could not do the homework problems either.

Mixed. Considering other options for high school. The technical issues are too great. The automation and impersonal personnel and admin is not ideal. The fact that student is not getting writing edited and corrected to be returned is a big issue. Your child could end up graduating with the writing ability of a 4th grader heading into their 18th birthday. That's terrifying!

I am considering pulling my child out of this program. The amount of work for a 6 week course is unrealistic. This is not a college level program yet the teachers and curriculum seem to think so. I am not happy at all with my choice, looking for other options. The assignments and amount of work set the child up to fail.

Too much work, too many projects in a short amount of times. Checkpoints, discussion boards, and final exams not made in an appropriate manner. No kinds of breaks what so ever and live classes don't teach anything. What is put in checkpoints is not taught what so ever. School even during holidays..! Outrageous.. Primavera.. really.. does suck.

My child went to high school for 2 years then went to online school and it was the best decision.
