Fights everyday, teachers who do the bare minimum (or not even). Obvious leatning gap. God I got into Uni High. Does not prepare you for highschool at all. STAY AWAY!!!!!

All in all a pretty terrible school. The principal and most of the teachers seem to do the bare minimum. We ended up moving because I wouldn’t let my child spend another day here getting a poor education from educators who just don’t care. Stay away!!!

Poor. Looking at trying to see if I can get my younger child into a different school. Repeatedly frustrated with their lack of communication and flat test scores

Terrible administration, terrible teachers that only stay their contracted time, no home communication, no positive reinforcement, no books to take home....

A nice size for a middle school... not too small, not too big. We also appreciate the diversity of the student population and the extracurricular activities available. Our son is now in 7th grade, and his found his niche thanks to the band and cross country programs. The teachers and principals all work hard to keep the kids engaged and keep a positive energy flowing through the school. Several teachers have gone above and beyond for our son, and I think he would consider many of them awesome teachers!

Our daughter is in 6th grade at Edison and has enjoyed every minute of it. Middle school can be a miserable place, and we are so relieved about how comfortable she is and how much fun she's having. In addition to the solid education offered, Edison has excellent band and sports programs. They are also the only middle school in town with recess, which is fantastic for kids this age.

Edison has been a wonderful experience for my daughter and our family. We were nervous going in as a new 6th grade parent, but after she became involved in athletics, band, and made great friends, we love it! There are always improvements to be made at the middle school level; however, the administration is always willing to listen to the parents and students when they have questions or concerns. Teachers have been responsive when I have contacted them and overall, I feel like my daughter is learning. I am in the building quite a bit and when I go in, the hallways are quiet and students are in their classrooms learning. I always used to think that the middle school transition was going to be difficult for my daughter, but that has not been the case. We love Edison!

The school is well organized, professors are highly qualified, and the administration office is always helpful.

Edison is doing amazing things with severely limited facilities and modest resources. I am continually impressed with the quality of the band program. The science team is doing very well with their Science Olympiad competitors. The "no-cut" cross-country sports program is a huge benefit in keeping these kids fit and healthy.

Bad management, bad funding and bad school district. Some of the teachers are really cool, however.

I went to Edison Middle School 6-8 grade. It is an amazing school, though some of the teachers may come off rude, its all because they want to help you. I really loved this school and I learned so much, sometimes I wish I could just go back! -- SIgned student
